Good grief. Why didn’t the hospital secure this stuff BEFORE the construction crews started their work? Sounds like sloppy oversight to me. Let’s hope this is not something more sinister.
Considering a muzzie from Chicago was caught threatening a Jewish school, I can’t help but wonder if there’s a connection.
This is my home state of Illinois. I suspect a crime angle instead of some construction crew.

Let’s hope the safe stays sealed, wherever it’s dumped. I remember reading a story a few years ago about how a powerful radiotherapy isotope from a defunct machine in a hospital was simply tossed out in the Mexico City dump. It was a cake of blue powder with a pretty glow and some children used it to play with and for face paint... with gruesome consequences.
Not to worry — it’ll be accounted for in a dirty bomb.
The stuff they use in hospitals is very low level stuff. Dangerous only to the dipwad who took it.
