Give ME a good example from the last ten years (or more) when we’ve ever had such a dream candidate with the total package and unflappable style of a Herman Cain. There just isn’t any.

And he’s eloquent - spontaneously (no teleprompter needed). Oh, to see him debate “the golden child” just once. Priceless.

I so believe he doesn’t play the game and isn’t cowered by the media’s narrative that he will overcome it - in people’s hearts. His track record and character speak for themselves.

He’s a leader.

i disagree, and here’s why. we know by now that there are large numbers of black conservatives, though lots (like in hollywood) just don’t talk about it openly. also, i believe some (maybe many) were torn - obama campaigned as a “moderate” and let’s face it - mccain is not a conservative, so given the choice between him (an old lackluster white-guy RINO) and a young, dashing, “hopeful” black guy, plus the (seemingly) win-win chance to feel cultural pride while helping to make history, well......

i think herman cain would eliminate any ambiguity in the larger-than-you-think group of black conservatives. heck, even tons who aren’t conservative now have buyer’s remorse. and for those stupid voters (of which there were far too many) who voted for obama solely for his skin color - well, there would be no dilemma there, with HC.

You are right, but Conservatives like Herman Cain, Allen West and Sara Palin are not the white, country club flaccid males that the msm has defined the conservative movement to be. It is important to do everything we can to promote conservatives, especially minority conservatives as they will be taken to task far more so than a white male conservative.

Personally, I would vote for a black albino female bull dyke who looked like Helen Thomas if she were a strong conservative that was a constitionalist who believed in the original intent of the founding fathers.
