Why Obama won't run for a second term
Great American Journal ^ | circa July 19, 2010

Posted on 07/22/2010 5:30:02 AM PDT by upchuck

Obama has no intention of running for a second term. He already knows that he wouldn’t stand a chance of winning reelection without massive voter fraud. He will be replaced as the Democratic candidate by Hillary Clinton. Should she win, she will be just like Obama. They both belong to the same Marxist Progressive club. Ms. Clinton has already begun her campaign, though by stealth so far.

Obama doesn't want the job of president, he just likes the feeling of power and the perks. That is why he has over 35 czars to do all of the work while he is out campaigning, partying, vacationing, and golfing. He knows he is destroying the country, for that is his assigned task by the Progressive leadership.

Obama is a career drifter. Four years in one job is almost more than he can stand. He has never stayed in one job for more than two years. He left the Illinois Senate after two years to campaign for the U.S. Senate. He left the U.S. Senate after just 18 months to start campaigning for president. He can't stand being in the White House for more than a couple of days at a time before he's off for a $200,000 plane ride at taxpayers' expense.

He knows he will be thrown overboard as soon as he completes his assigned task of turning the country up-side-down with socialism. That is his primary mission. No question about it, that is why he was selected and groomed for the presidency by the people he really works for. His oath of office was a lie, clear and simple. No wonder Justice Roberts fumbled it. He must have known.

Obama outraged the nation by ordering the Justice Dept. to drop charges against the New Black Panthers, then had the department commit to not prosecute any blacks on voter intimidation charges.

Obama has launched a deliberate attack on the oil industry in his attempt to destroy it, while at the same time, is stabbing Americans in the back with his lawsuit against Arizona.

Obama has taken over private businesses and industries, forced an unwanted government healthcare system on us, destroyed jobs, and intentionally made it nearly impossible for businesses to grow or even stay in business with his taxes and other policies that interfere with the running of a business.

Need I say more? Obama has done everything he can possibly do against the will of the American people. It doesn’t matter to him that his poll numbers are sinking like the Deepwater Horizon into an oily abyss. What matters is that he has the power now and will use it to push the Marxist agenda as far as he can before he too is thrown under the bus.

He has no intention of running for reelection. He has said it himself: he would rather be a one term president and get things done, than be a two term president with no accomplishments. The policies and laws he is putting into place now will last long after he is gone. He, Pelosi, Reid, and their liberal allies in Congress have made sure of that. The Congress we elect in November better have enough backbone to stand up to the Progressive Communists in our government and start the repeal process immediately.

I think he does hate working. Which is why POTUS is the perfect gig for him. It allows him to delegate to everyone else. He pretty much just rubberstamps what the Dem congress gives him and claims victory. No—he will run for a 2nd term and the MSM will (once again) deliver it to him on a silver platter. Just watch.

Understand one thing:

IF and WHEN “O’s” Liberal successor (ANY Liberal) follows him into the WH…. they will absolutely NOT give ground on ANY of the ‘gains’ which this party feels “O” has achieved. PERIOD! They will negotiate from the ground under their feet, they will parlay with Conservatives only from where they stand, and not give one inch on anything.

Bank on THAT

I have said all along that Zero is Soros’ (and others of his ilk) sock puppet.

He was too unknown and inexperienced to win the Presidency without MASSIVE and coordinat4ed assistance from BIG-money people.

He’s done what his handlers wanted him to do: destabilize the USA.

Zero will likely find himself under the same bus he has thrown everyone else he knows - and Soros won’t live forever.

This writer is wishful dreaming that he will quit. (BTW:”It’s not quitting, it’s resigning to save the country” LOL) Everything Obama does is about 2012, not 2010. 2011 and 2012 will not look like 2099 and 2010 politically, especially if Republicans win so big they look like they are responsible for the economy and deficit. Up till now it’s been easy for Republicans (first time in many years.)

16 years ago 1994 the Clinton Presidency was reported to be dead by Republicans, who then got beat by him in 1996 after Clinton shut down the government and successfully blamed Republicans.

The way to ENSURE Hussein doesn't run, is to make him prove he is qualified as a Natural Born Citizen, by presenting VALID documentation to election officials in all 50 states. Third party attestations by proven liars such as San Fran Nan don't cut it.

Election officials in EACH state must personally view and verify all birth documentation, and review the facts, including rulings pertaining to dual citizenship, and attest that he is qualified to be on the ballot for the office he is seeking.

The kenyan usurper cannot pass this test, although corrupt officials in a few states will certify him anyway.

My 2012 nightmare scenario: 0bama announces he wants a second term. Nobody seriously opposes him. Democrats are free to head for the other party’s primaries, where open, and they select the easiest Republican to beat (and I don’t mean Palin). When Jeb McRomrich is selected for us, 0bama has a “change of hope” and announces he’ll step aside after all, throwing the Dem nomination open. At their convention...well, you know. They’re baaaaack!

I tend to agree that this is "wishful dreaming".

The Republicans had better start presenting a coherent message---"I'm not Obama" is not enough.

Well, okay, it might be enough to get elected, but it isn't enough to restore this country.

Repeal and Restore! (To heck with replacing)

PS: Absolutely loved your remark:

There is no way he isn’t running again; his ego would never allow him not to.

He *loves* the power he has now, and his wife hasn’t gotten the reparations bill passed yet I believe he promised her in his second term.

Of course that was before the great purge that will take place come November, back when they thought they would rule for the next twenty years unopposed.

Nah. Creation has always taken far more than demolition, no matter the subject. In this case, a simple bill is all that is needed. The GOP merely needs the political will to pass it... and they very rarely ever muster enough of THAT to do much of anything. George W Bush had both houses for SIX YEARS... and got precious little done in that span.

RE :”Well, okay, it might be enough to get elected, but it isn't enough to restore this country.

Well saying 'No' will be enough to have a big win this off year November but to be taken serious Republicans must show why they are better than the Republicans of 2001-2008. Hard to do with the same TARP leadership.

And we got many that post like the secret is convince voters that Bush was really a success. I been telling them for 20 months that it wont ever sell. They just tell me it's all my (or more-so Rab's) fault voters don't believe Bush was a success.

Obama will win a second term with ease. The Romney/Grahm wing of the GOP will split the party at just the right time to be sure that nobody from outside the Washington beltway elite gets elected. With the GOP destroyed Obama will with by virtue of well orchestrated fraud and voter intimidation. Look at what is happening in Florida. The RINOs would rather destroy the party than lose their grip on power. Line the democrats they like socialism, they just want to be the ones getting the perks.

Yep. And don't forget, by the summer of 1996, unemployment was approaching 5.40%, which is almost two full points lower than it was when Clinton took office. By that time, his approvals had substantively rebounded because the economy was really starting to heat up and we were approaching full employment.

Obama will have a different set of circumstances - a much worse set of circumstances - but I think there's nothing to keep him from running for a second term and nothing to keep him from gaining the Dem nomination. It's virtually impossible to lose the Dem nomination with 95% black support, and 75%+ Latino support - they're just too big to overcome for a challengers.

Why wouldn’t he want to be a one-term president? He’s already gotten most of what he wants. He finishes his term and then he can collect a check for the rest of his life. Secret Service detail and staff protecting him day and night. He can then spend his ‘retirement’ doing that which he enjoys most, campaigning. He’ll jump on the lecture circuit making a couple million an appearance, writing more books. Sickening.

Good points. I am certainly not predicting that he will win. It is just that Republicans will not have as easy of a time as they did this year. This year Democrats were down to a strategy of blaming minority Republicans and characterize them by statements from a few nobodies. They are fighting a losing battle.

But next year republicans will have a Presidential primary that could get ugly, and Obama will hand congress the unpopular deficit commission recommendations, and the economy should improve some maybe. As I said from the beginning, Republicans need to make Obama own all the bad news to win like they did with Bush.

Reagan was the only POTUS who was a true-blue hater of big government and true conservative in the 20th century other than Cool Cal Coolidge. Even so, it was easier for Reagan to win the cold war and dismantle the U.S.S.R. than downsize the U.S. Federal government bureaucratic monstrosity.

Even if the GOP had had both houses, Reagan wold still have had great difficulty cutting government. Some of Reagan's greatest opposition came from his own party. The GOP is the caboose on the same long political train as the DemocRat engine that pulls it - its just a matter of time before the GOP passes the same way as the Leftists.
