Former Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod said Thursday that she would consider legal action against the conservative blogger who posted the video that led to her ouster.

Speaking on CBS' Early Show, Sherrod said that while she hasn't actively talked about suing Andrew Breitbart, she "would definitely consider it."

Sherrod said that Breitbart's intentions were obvious - but misguided.

Did Brietbart tamper with the tapes? Are the tapes not an accurate representation of the truth? Under what rule of law is accurately (or not) representing the spoken word of a public servant a crime, civil or criminal? If this is successful, can Bush sue Dan Rather?

First question. What are her damages?

Second question. How many people saw it on Breitbart?

If she really wants to sue someone she ought to sue the TV stations, which is where the clip was really publicized.

I’m a racist, you’re a racist, wouldn’t you like to be a racist too.

Would it be racist for me to say that she’s showing her true colors with that remark?

Ms Sherrod’s “life experience” appears to be one of lawsuits against everyone and anyone.

She sued the USDA and won $300,000 for herself alleging discrimination. She also sued the USDA after Reagan shut down the civil rights division of the USDA in 1983.

Breitbart played an accurate tape, it may have been edited but it wasn't inaccurate, she said what she said and the NAACP audience reacted the way they did. What she said later was of no consequence since the racism had already been exposed.

He broke no law, if she wants to sue she had better sue the people who fired her.

Sue the NAACP for filming it.

Sherrod is now the female Jeremiah Wright..they can find tapes of things she said in the past and what she says in the future..she is gonna be a HUGE liability for Obama..like Dick Morris said last night, she is Wright but working on the inside. She should have been fired for just mentioning her political views during this event.

He didn’t fire her, so he isn’t her problem.

Not that this would stop her, she is sue-happy. She just won a $13 million dollar lawsuit against USDA because the didn’t loan her operating cash for her farm. Now USDA has given her the perfect pretext to sue them again.

It won’t surprise me to see her go after Breitbart, for what? For posting a tape of her own words. He didn’t fire her, Obama did. Thats where her lawsuit needs to go. Funny thing, they told her they were firing her for fear of what Glenn Beck would say... (that sounds like an illegal firing to me) and in point of fact Beck defended her. Hasn’t stopped her from attacking Fox, though.

Good point. My guess is that she is a public figure owing to her govt position and her role in the big lawsuit against USDA.

She is giving away the good will that has been extended to her by Coulter, Beck, and others. What a fool, she has sympathy from 99% of the population.. STFU, write a book, cash in, and realize somebody snookered bb..

Sherrod: I'd Consider Legal Action against Breitbart

Here we go again.
The inevitable shakedown from the race hustlers begins.
Brietbart is not the federal government. He is not going to fold and pay out free money to some racist African-American woman like the federal government did from our tax dollars. Bring it on!
