An unrepentant Andrew Breitbart told POLITICO on Thursday that the Obama administration and its allies have manufactured a controversy over the video he posted of Shirley Sherrod’s speech to the NAACP as part of an orchestrated effort to take him down.
“I am public enemy No. 1 or 2 to the Democratic Party, the progressive movement and the Obama administration based upon the successes my journalism has had,” Breitbart said in a telephone interview late Thursday morning as he headed to the airport for what he said was a long-planned, three-day vacation.
Breitbart asserted that liberal media outlets are shifting the focus to the misleading excerpting in the videos he posted — as well as his erroneous statement about the context of the footage — to divert attention from what he asserts is a double standard on racist behavior exposed by the video, which he released Monday to push back against a recently passed NAACP resolution expressing concern about “racist elements” in the tea party movement.

I can’t wait for Sherrod to try to sue Breitbart for the nothing he did wrong. If she were in any way successful the floodgates would open against every network the carnage could unintentionally let journalism be reborn.
Let me see if I get this, the white liberal media when confronted with uncomfortable feelings that Obama is screwing them, and that the “tea partiers” might have some good points, concocts stories about white racists being the problem, and the tea partiers are racists and so on, so they do not have to think about Obama. This cycle has happened several times. This time around, with discomfort about the finance “reform” bill, the NAACP jumps into the action for the first time, believing the white liberal media must be telling the truth, rather than a story line to distract attention from the reality of Obama. They lash out at the tea partiers and Breibart hits back with a video, and in the typical stupid way of Obama, he takes immediate action with a firing without reviewing the situation and getting the facts straight.
Therefore, Obama’s rash action is the tea partiers’ fault because the Golden Child is faultless.
In my opinion, Breitbart is an American hero. He has the spine, guts, and gonads to go after the enemies of freedom. The majority of the American people know he’s trying to save this nation and preserve our freedom. His enemies are our enemies in my opinion.

Really? Perhaps the author saw an edited video, it was quite apparent on the one I saw. Nothing out of context or erroneous in Breitbart's presentation.
sherrod is a racist and a marxist, she just realizes at a point that she doesn't hate all White people. Sorta like malcolm x when he came back from mecca, he didn't hate Whitey, as long as Whitey was a muslim.
If anything this is a bonanza for Britbart. This is the golden goose for him. Just as they tried to destroy Limbaugh, he got stronger and stronger with each attack. They are giving him millions if not tens of millions in revenues. Breitbart is very, very savy media guy and is ending up much stronger and richer. good for him.
This country should be pretty darn grateful people like Breitbart are looking out for them.

Breitbart provides more honest news than all the other phony-baloney so-called news channels combined. They (ABC/CBS/NBC/MSNBC/CNN) refuse to do investigative reporting and they are no longer trusted by about 80% of Americans who search for news on the internet. I used to watch Good Morning America every morning until pre-election coverage of Obama made it simply nauseating to do so anymore. We haven't watched network news ever since. Any propaganda detected by us (as news) is reason enough to never tune in again, no matter what station is spewing it. IMHO network news has misjudged Americans by thinking of us as easily manipulated and likely to believe whatever angle they are attempting to foist upon us. Judging by their ratings, they have misjudged their former viewers.
Time for him to release the good stuff soon, the left knows he has damaging stuff coming just in time for elections.
Lets see...When a black government official discriminates against a white farmer, it is understandable because it is ‘just payback’, but if a white journalist shows her admitting it, then it is a ‘racially-motivated smear’?
She used to be a racist who discriminated based on skin color. Before she became a Marxist who cheerfully discriminates against the ‘haves’ in favor of the ‘have-nots’.
I did not want to spend 45 minutes watching Shirley Sherrod's entire speech, but Breitbart is a conservative hero, and I was interested in the context of this controversy. Watching the speech was depressing, but worth the effort.
Breitbart is understating the case. The full video shows that Sherrod devotes her entire being to race and class grievance. She may have traded some of her racist bigotry for classist bigotry when she decided to help a farmer, but in general she seems to regard non-poor whites as untermenschen. She is every bit as bigoted as she appears in Breitbart's short clip, just bigoted in a different way. The full video also reveals an ugly entitlement mentality not seen in the clip.
Of course to the MSM, the full video proves that Sherrod is Miss Post-Racial Wonderfulness. Totally, utterly wrong, as usual, but how many people will watch the full video?
The MSM also seems convinced that Breitbart personally edited the video down to the clip, which makes no sense. Had he first seen the full video, Breitbart would have immediately understood how the clip could be used against him.

No matter what else gets said, Breitbart did screw this one up. I listened to the video, and the initial reports were widely out of context with what was actually said.
I’m not going to stand and loudly defend something that appears on it’s face to be misguided.
