My wife grew up in communist occupied Hungary. Her folks lived through hell, and her grandparents, lived through hell twice over.
That being said, we have been traveling to Hungary since the early to mid 80’s. Back in the day, when the Soviets ran the place, the only good job was a government job. You knew you struck it rich if you worked for the bureaucracy. They had no rich or wealthy class they claimed. All were equal. Well, except the government workers. They made 10x what the people made, had great medical and even pensions. No one else had any of that. Most folks would stand in line at the hospital bleeding to death unless you paid someone off.
I’m starting to see a similarity here with our own governments. When I hear the average gub’mint worker is making $120k a year, something is dead wrong. When I see gub’mint workers making 500+K a year, I think we are beyond gone. I start to think its time to reboot the system and start over again.
Someone has to come forward and propose ending all gub’mint benefits until the we are out of debt. Cap all gub’mint pay at 5 figures. Allow gub’mint employees to only collect one pension, no matter how many gub’mint jobs they’ve had, and force them all on Obamacare.
If someone ran on that platform, I bet they nation would support it. We’ve all had enough.
I was going to suggest that the people get the DOJ involved! But then I thought, who would I be kidding.
Uhmmm, excuse me???
If this election is stolen in November, this is how they will do it.
If these were Republicans, that fact would have been mentioned in the news.
I have seen no mention of what political party they belong to, so must be Democrat.
From Wikipedia:
"The racial makeup of the city was 48.45% White, 1.28% Black or African American, 1.28% Native American, 1.07% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 43.09% from other races, and 4.78% from two or more races. 90.90% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race."
87% to 54% ??
