Professor at a historically black college catches flack for saying that the concept of a "Black National Anthem" - (Lift Every Voice and Sing) is unnecessary and racially divisive.

Well Ben, while it is obvious to you and to me, this is an issue of sensitivity for black people. For a professor at a historically black college to write a books saying this is tantamount to heresy.
The Rancid Left has succeeded in making American blacks into slaves on their new plantation.

I agree with the professor and he is not the only black academic saying such. The problem is that they are in the minority....the majority wanting a black national anthem are the same ones advocating broad-based reparations, social juctice, and their own nation.....
Oh yes!
Never mind if some professor or rapper thinks there should be a black national anthem.
I do care what our Undocumented President thinks of it.
Not that it matters; Blacks can have all the National anthems they want, so long as beret-wearing hoods with billyclubs aren't allowed to threaten, intimidate, or brutalize anyone who doesn't choose to participate, honor or in any other way validate the stupidity of the New Africa.

Lift Every Voice And Sing is a HYMN. It’s not a BLACK hymn, it’s not THEIR hymn, it’s for all God’s children.
Personally, I like ¨Lift Every Voice and Sing¨.

“Lift Every Voice and Sing” is in the hymnal at our church. When we first sang it, I noted the 1920 copyright date in the book and assumed that it was inspired by World War I. “We have come over a way that with tears has been watered, We have come, treading our path through the blood of the slaughtered,” which is found in the second verse, can bring to mind images of the Aisne River, Belleau Wood, or the Argonne Forest. Only later did I learn that the song was composed several years prior to the war.
As long as they let the crackers sing “Dixie” I’d be perfectly copacetic with an “Unofficial Black Anthem” sung by whoever chooses (and it ain’t a bad song, at that — it speaks to being true to their God and native land... hellooo, unless you’re Barack Obama, an Afro-American’s native land is usually going to be the States).
Negro race-based slavery was a mess all around. Not enough is said about how slaves were commandeered — usually through some kind of vendetta between tribes back in Africa, resulting in bloody conflicts and prisoners taken, which prisoners were delivered to the glad and greedy merchant ships, which like as not were captained and crewed by Muslims.
How about Dixie....
But as the Pledge of Allegiance states: "One Nation...indivisible..."

First, a Black National Anthem...and then -- what next? Will there be a Black Pledge of Allegiance, and a Black America Flag, etc. The insanity of segregating themselves after their parents and grandparents protested to have their race fully integrated is a slap in the face to Dr. King and those who espoused sensible ideals. How I wish the Blacks had a spokesperson who was truly interested in the people, and not power and fame via retribution cries and insighting violence and hatred.
The current push to separate the races by identifying them as being different makes no sense, except to thieving, conniving Democrats who want to keep them in a stage of unrest so they can get their votes and then control them with government handouts. What the Blacks of America do not see is that they ARE becoming slaves again...only this time to the power hungry Democrat politicians.
