Sunday's Tea Party on Lexington Battle Green shut down by pro-gay RINO Republicans

The Tea Party scheduled for this Sunday afternoon July 25, on the historic Lexington Battle Green has been canceled.

It's the only time in America, to our knowledge, that a Tea Party has been shut down by Republican activists.

The organizers were forced to cancel the event by "Republicans" sympathetic to the homosexual movement and hostile to the parents' rights movement that exposes the taxpayer-supported homosexual agenda in the schools. The main speakers, prodded by a socially liberal Tea Party (and Republican) activist, announced that because Brian Camenker of MassResistance was also speaking, they would not participate.

The cancellation was first reported in the local newspaper, the Lexington Minuteman. Eric Dahlberg, a left-wing Republican candidate for State Senate, told the newspaper "Some consider MassResistance a hate group, I don't want to be within a mile of an event that gives someone like that [Camenker] a stage."

“.....The cancellation was first reported in the local newspaper, the Lexington Minuteman. Eric Dahlberg, a left-wing Republican candidate for State Senate.....”

Personal opinion is that there should NOT be anything one could possibly call a left-wing Republican.

We have to regain control of that Political Party.

I can dream can’t I.

Oh please! This wreaks of an invented
story made to sound like Tea Party
infighting. I’ll believe none of it.

“...Eric Dahlberg, a left-wing Republican candidate ...”

RINO disease ID here. RINO Kill (politically speaking, of course) is priority ONE!
Any questions?

a left-wing Republican

Now there is something you do not see every day... I thought they were called moderate Republicans.

I agree, have it anyway! If they had people willing to speak it was pointless to cancel. Matter of fact, I think they are guilty of caving in to the pressure. Isn’t free speech one of the cornerstones of the Tea Party? Well, I thought the Bill of Rights was a biggie to all of us but what do I know?

This is the difficult thing about tea parties.

With no authenticated leadership, you can’t control the message or the meetings.

Yeah, very catty. “forced to cancel”—could have held the event regardless

Honestly, if Camencar was trying to make the tea party event about gay marriage, then he should have been kicked out. THe TP isn’t a grab bag of issues; it needs to focus like a laser beam on our out of control welfare state.

BullCr*p.....we HAD no “leadership” at the inception of the Tea Parties and they have turned into a strong, patriotic, MASSIVE group that has power to frighten progressives!!!!

THIS pathetic group may have lost it’s spine, but the Tea Party has NOT.

WE are the “leaders” of the Tea Party. The “message” has reverberated all over the country and it’s quite clear and HAS been since February, 2009.

Yup. They should just have the event anyway. I’ll save my outrage for other things.
