Tracey Mann: I think the president of the United States needs to come forth with his papers and show everyone that he's an American citizen and put this issue to bed once and for all.
Jennings: So, the short certificate that was shown by the state of Hawaii and the secretary of state of that state is not sufficient for you, correct?
Mann: I would like to look into it more.
Jennings: OK. Would you like to actively do that, or do you want to see an agency kind of take that up, or ...
Mann: I'd like to see an agency take that up, and like I said, just find out one way or another, and put this issue to bed.
Jennings: OK.
Same question to Senator Huelskamp. Senator Huelskamp, not only has the president released the short order birth certificate, but also the state of Hawaii had confirmed that they did have the original copy; not only that, but a newspaper article in Hawaii back in 1961 had the birth announcement. So in order for the conspiracy to be true - that the president is not a legal president - not only would the federal government and the state of Hawaii have to be conspiring, but also an editorial board in a newspaper back in 1961 would have to be conspiring. How is it that people who don't believe that the president is legally the chief executive have a leg to stand on in this issue?
Tim Huelskamp: I do not know - unlike Tracey, it wasn't a concern of mine, and I'm not for certain why folks like Tracey and others in this race would demand to see the birth certificate, but yeah, I've seen that in the background that you mention as well. I think it's in some ways an easy distraction. On one hand, here's this president having the biggest power grab in U.S. history, with the passage of ObamaCare - and that's the real issue here, and that's why I'm committed to repeal that, and I'm committed to roll back numerous other programs that this president has started. And win, lose, or draw, we've got to fight that, and this I think is a distraction, by folks, I'm not certain, but it just continues to hang out there, and it's not particularly a concern for me.
Jennings: So, Mr. Huelskamp, you do believe that the president is our authentic chief executive?
Huelskamp: I believe so.
Jennings: Thank you.
Mann doesn't really question Obama's citizenship as point out the fact that Obama could put that issue to rest by simply showing the long form of his supposed birth certificate.
The birth certificate issue may not be nearly as important as his adoption by an INdonesian citizen and thus becoming an Indonesian citizen.

His father was KENYAN! Obama cannot be NATURAL BORN no matter what BC he displays. His father was a British subject and his mother was too young at the time of his birth to pass on her citizenship.

I’M SICK AND TIRED OF THIS STUPID EXCUSE! I was born in DC in ‘46. My Mom’s parents put a birth announcement in the Akron Beacon Journal. My Dad’s parents put an announcement in both The Cleveland Press and The Plain Dealer. Birth announcements printed in newspapers don’t prove SQUAT about where a person was born!
Until there are documents released that prove otherwise, I will always believe that Obama got his fine college education, by being a foreign exchange student — that is, he put on his applications that he was NOT an American. And those college records have been removed from the system — for that very reason.

I think the whole cover up simply began out of embarrassment of the family...with no one ever thinking it would be a political issue in the future. And probably, for years even, perhaps Barack didn't even know the truth. Maybe that is part of why he is so angry at white people, and so afraid to have the information known. I suspect realizing your mother was pregnant, not married to the man you thought was your father/not knowing who your father really was/is, and having grandparents and relatives feel uncomfortable with you in their midst as a bi-racial child, among other abandonment issues has formed Obama's dysfunctional psyche.
There remain unanswered questions about the veracity of the "short order" birth certificate. The state of Hawaii carefully parsed their words in "certifying" that they had "something." So there remain a few unanswered questions for a responsible journalist to consider.
It looks like Jennings is trying to bring the matter to a close with simple declarations. I saw it on TV so it must be so!

I agree with you 100%, he is not natural born if his father is a Kenyan but I don’t think he or anyone else besides me, you and others here give a crap about that.
They will not release any long form because it will show that he is probably a bastard, and they do not want that information shown, otherwise this would not would not gone this far.
G-d forbid his real father is a citizen, then we have no argument.

Well?...Obama claims that Obama Sr. was his father. Can anyone prove that? The long form birth certificate would be the place to start verifying Obama’s origins.
