What Bachmann thinks should happen if the Repubs get control of the House
By Eric Black

**SNIP**

BACHMANN: "Oh, I think that's all we should do...I think that all we should do is issue subpoenas and have one hearing after another. And expose all the nonsense that has gone on. And it's very important when we come back that we have constitutional conservative leadership because the American people's patience is about this big.

So we have to make sure that we do what the people want us to do because one thing that you should is that the most dramatic story that's happened in the last 18 months is that the federal government - before 18 months ago, the private economy was 100 percent held in private hands. But today 65 percent of the economy is now held in government's hands - either in direct ownership or in control. This is your future we're talking about. So we got to unravel that and we got to get the private sector back to being private and the government back to being government.

This is the year - this is it. All of our chips are on November. If we don't get it back and then starve the beast - the House, we have the power of the purse - so we can starve ObamaCare. We don't have to fund any of these programs and that's exactly what we need to do - defund all of this nonsense and then unwind it. So anyway, thank you very much..."

Palin/Bachman--there, corrected it. Though I do like Ryan. Just NOT Newt and NOT Mitt.

Does anyone know how Bachman is polling in her district?I am sure the Dems are out to ACORN her if possible, and If it is close they could succeed.

She’s right. Defund everything the Left has in place. Let their Leftist crammed bureaucracies fall in a pile of refuse. Let them all walk.

Turn America back to the people, and turn America into growth with a new Energy policy that makes this Nation #1 in everything again.

Grab a net, bag the Environmentalistas flitting about, and put them in an enclosed Atrium at a Zoo.

Rid ourselves of the Leftist stink that has permeated our society for waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.

Defunding is the only way to quickly neuter these destructive criminal plans. We also need to pressure our newly elected reps to begin work on prosecuting these criminal politicians and thier support groups and funding for crimes against the American people. Lets get to the bottom of these scams and punish those who thought they were bigger than the office they were elected to serve.. The GOP may very well take control of the house and senate but out of expediency to block and stop the bleeding. Conservative takeover would be a good start and they must move quickly to reverse the damage done while initiation good sound financial and security programs with experienced people in various sectors to bring us back to a level playing field. This is thier opportunity, thier feet will be held to the fire and they will be made to either sink or swim.

Stopping the funding for these liberal wacko fantasies to bring utopia on earth is the answer until another President is in the WH, BUT the byproduct is that since Hussein will not cooperate, funding bills will not be signed and the Government will come to a halt. IMHO the nation is much more in a mood for this to happen than it was back in 1995 when Newt engineered the shutdown.

Tempting as it might be to investigate and or impeach Obama and his cronies, if Republicans control the House they should concentrate on jobs. That means repealing or defunding all of Obama's job killing agenda. People in this country are hurting from the effects of Obamanomics and will look for results not hearings. If the Republicans spend all their energy investigating etc. they will get turned out in 2012 and God forbid Obama may be re-elected.

I think the Democrats themselves may take care of Obama. After the almost certain November bloodbath, party leaders will be pushing Hillary to run or someone someplace in the Democratic ranks may have Obama's real birth and immigration records and pull the plug on Dear Leader.

Refusing to fund ObongoCare and other antiAmerican socialist legislation is a start. But what really should be done is that all of this horrible so-called “legislation” needs to be REPEALED and quickly! If the Senate refuses to cooperate with the House, then only bills that address the most important needs of the nation (defense, etc) should be passed. And the House should then attach repeal riders to every bill that is passed -— such as bills to pay federal employees.

Although I agree with the sentiment, I don't want him impeached. If he is impeached, he becomes a martyr for the socialist democrats. If the Republican get and maintain control of the house (a God willing the Senate) Obama and his ideology will be effectively halted. Then he will go through the rest of his life known as the worst president ever. And he will have to keep explaining to his girls, and his grandchildren, why he will be listed as the worst president ever. And I want him and all his cronies to live with this. I don't want him to become a martyr.

“I’d love to see Bachmann as Speaker.”

I think it is completely possible that the GOP could gain 100 seats in November, which means the race for Speaker will be wide open. The 100 who were elected are going to know what brought them there. The Tea Party movement. The de facto leader of that movement is Sarah Palin. If Palin gets behind Bachmann, Bachmann could become the Speaker. She could cut off the funds for these disasters and hold everything in abeyance until Palin arrives in 2013 to administer the coup de grace to Obama and all his evil works.

If it is Boehner or Cantor, they will go along to get along just as Newt did in 1995. Newt flinched when Clinton shut the Government down in stead of holding firm. He looked at the polls, his knees shook and he wimped out. So Clinton won. Boehner and Cantor will flinch as well. Bachmann will not. Michelle Bachmann must be Speaker. And Sarah Palin, whose clout in the GOP is prodigious now and will be positively overwhelming after November, can make it happen.

None of the GOP Congresscritters will want to incur Palin’s wrath in 2012 and thereafter. Bachmann as Speaker is the first concession Palin must demand, and it is a necessary first step to save the Constitution and the Republic from Obama.

He deserves a far worse fate. Long and agonizing. I want to see him cry on national TV over his misfortunes. I want to feel his pain. I want him to hurt so bad that I almost feel sorry for him. In the end, I think he should be treated the way he thinks babies who have abortions should be treated.

That’s all well and good but given the fact the OP( formerly the GOP) has helped take us down the path to socialism, the people still need to prepare to defend the Constitution by openly defying the marxist regime should this plan crumble.

This is why Newt sux! He's a pansy and doesn't understand the history he's preached. If conservatives take over in November and do not do anything to dismantle this gov't albatross there is no question THEN a new party needs to be formed.

The other night on Hannity Newt said he talks to the NYT because he believes in dialog. What Newt does not understand or is wilfully blind too is the left does care about dialog, and even more important has NO standard. They will trash any republican or conservative NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY OR DO! It's like fighting extreme Islam, they don't care what innocents get murdered, their "Religion" is what matters. Well, the left's religion is gov't and the fact which shows Newt is oblivious to this, is his foolhearty attraction.

Can you say, "Dumbass?"

The House impeaches, the Senate tries and convicts or acquits. The Republicans impeached Clinton but could not get a conviction in a Republican majority Senate. There is no way a Democrat majority Senate will convict Barack Obama and it is highly likely the Senate will still have a Democrat majority after the fall election. Even if the Republicans ran the table and secured a one or two seat majority in the Senate, I can’t see Lindsay Grahmam, Olympia Snow, Susan Collins and possibly a few other Republicans voting to convict the first black president no matter what he has done.

Better to spend the time and energy reversing legislation and conducting public investigation so the Republican’s can run in 2012 to clean up the corruption.
