Cops are a joke. All they are is tax collecters for the towns they work for. Looking for taxpayers on the cellphone, not wearing a seatbelt, driving 5 miles over the speedlimit, etc. But stopping real crime ? Forget it! They show up after the fact and you better not have a unregistered gun in your house that you used to defend yourself, because you will be the one going to jail not the “Perp’.

I giess I am not a real conservative. I haveserved as an LEO. And what went down at COSTCO was dead wrong.I cannot support that.Andnow the facts are being suppressed. A clear signthat this was ahorribly wrong. Nonneed to shoot a second volley into a man who lay dying, in thw throws of convulsion. If there was, we would be seeing it all on video, and the witnesses would nont be afraid to step forward. All we have is the police account officially. There are no sworn witness statements that have any weight as to a summary of fact.

You might rationalize all you want about when the police should be stpported. In this case they were very likely worong, and at the least a manslaughter was committed. But the second volley says it was homicide. Thats just the way it is.

Here’s a link for you re top 10 from Forbes. They are in the top ten but are tops in front line first responders. And this doesn’t account for their post job life expectancy which is almost nil. They are so messed up by the time they retire they drop dead with statistically alarming frequency. No doubt in part due to diet and sitting for long periods. I can tell you you could offer me seriously big bucks and a great retirement and I’d turn it down. No question you have messed up losers in the ranks but that doesn’t mitigate the fact I’m grateful they do what they do.

Cripes, if I didn’t know the shooting took place in Nevada and someone asked me to bet on where this happened, I’d have said Florida.
