Palin has more balls than any republican male..

Except when she's, er, quitting her elected position because she can't handle the media attacks.

Luckily for her, quitting sure stopped those media attacks.

Nobel prize for stupid comment!

That's really hurting her, isn't it?

She resigned so the taxpaying people of Alaska would not be burdened with a governor who wouldn’t be able to govern due to JournOlists & Obama hit-men attacking her relentlessly. She explained all of this in detail.

If, as you say, she ‘couldn’t handle media attacks’, obviously she would have left the spotlight. But she hasn’t - she regrouped and stepped into the spotlight proving you wrong. She is fearless with regard to rat-dog media attacks.

>>Except when she’s, er, quitting her elected position because she can’t handle the media attacks. <<

Do you understand how much the woman was spending on lawyers fighting trumped up lawsuits?
I love Sarah, I think she is damaged goods and can’t make it to be president. I pray she can be put into a place that benefits us. But Damn, that’s a liberal statement, not a conservative one.

Welcome Back, Dad

I've been trying to convince my fellow conservatives that they have been wasting their time in a fruitless quest for a new Ronald Reagan to emerge and lead our party and our nation. I insisted that we'd never see his like again because he was one of a kind. I was wrong! Wednesday night I watched the Republican National Convention on television and there, before my very eyes, I saw my Dad reborn; only this time he's a she. And what a she! This was Ronald Reagan at his best -- the same Ronald Reagan who made the address known now solely as "The Speech," which during the Goldwater campaign set the tone and the agenda for the rebirth of the traditional conservative movement that later sent him to the White House for eight years and revived the moribund GOP. Welcome back, Dad, even if you're wearing a dress and bearing children this time around.

~Michael Reagan, conservative radio talk show host and son of President Ronald Reagan

Even if you don’t think she’d make a good president, let’s not have our side repeating made up “facts”. The media has nothing to do with her decision. None. From the moment she came onto the national scene the media has been relentless. For heaven’s sake, they even tried to insinuate Trig wasn’t her son. To this day they’re either attacking or attempting to dismiss her. Still, she’s not afraid to speak her mind.

It does have to do with the barrage of lawsuits, the costs and distractions. She and others have provided plenty of examples. Now, it’s certainly legitimate to think this is not a good enough reason. But it’s just idiotic to claim she stepped down because she couldn’t handle the “media” attacks when anyone with a pulse can figure out they’re still attacking and she hasn’t gone and hid in a cave. Nor did she run away when the incredibly vicious media persecution was happening during the campaign.

Ahhh, you’re another idiot repeating liberal drivel.

> 20 false ethics complaints
Cost to Alaskan taxpayers > $2 Million
Cost to Palin family to defend > $500k
Palin salary $100k

Do the math.

Alinsky plan was tie up Palin in these lawsuits, associate Palin name with ethic charges (regardless if they were false) and bankrupt her.

Now grow up, get intelligent and stop repeating liberal lies - you’re sounding like NYTimes.

Resigning in that position was the right thing to do. She was being Alinskyed, big time, and was no longer effective because of the manipulation of the ethics rules which, be it noted, I believe she had a hand in establishing.
In reading Rogue I was particularly interested in her take on that, and she knows it was an Alinsky attack which caused her problem.

But the fact is that had she stayed on in Anchorage she would, because of those attacks, have been absolutely unable to maintain and grow her national presence as she has done. The resignation was the correct move. And if she gets elected POTUS and resigns from there, leaving a strong VP to take the reins, that would not be as bad a result as nominating some RINO and being surprised that Obama beats him up like he did to McCain.

I can't spare the woman. She fights.
