Protests planned if Arizona illegal immigration law takes effect
1 hr 15 mins ago
Rallies, vigils, marches and protests are slated to occur if Arizona's controversial illegal immigration law takes effect on July 29, The Christian Science Monitor reported.
**SNIP**
If SB1070 takes effect this week, the National Day Laborer Organizing Network and 56 partners plan to hold demonstrations in Arizona and across the country. Protesters are urged to engage in non-violent acts of civil disobedience by not working, not carrying ID and not buying anything on July 29. To prepare for these protests, Arizona police departments are scheduling extra shifts and providing additional training on how to keep the peace, KGUN 9 reported.
In the meantime, scores of illegal immigrant families have been abandoning their homes and jobs and leaving the state, Reuters reported. This exodus has caused businesses catering to Hispanic clientele to close. However, proponents of SB1070 say the law will eventually help Arizona's economy, The LA Times reported.

Wouldn't it be a really good time to find a job?
Anybody know what’s happening with the lawsuit?
Are they trying to say that this is a bad thing?
” ... Mass exodus has begun ...”
Can there be any doubt that this is a good, if not great, law designed to protect and serve the citizens of AZ?
Go Gov. Brewer, and AZ Republican legislature.
With the mass exodus, maybe there’ll be some job openings and I can finally find a job. Any openings at Walmart?
What sucks is that alot of ‘em are showing up here in Texas.
GO ARIZONA!!!
Protests by illegal immigrants have been ongoing for decades! Where’s the surprise? Illegals protest, no matter what’s going on throughout the U.S.! All illegals protesting, from day one (whenever that was), should of been cause enough to fully implement the present laws of the U.S. and have them arrested and deported! In fact, frequently announce places for illegals to protest, and then, round them up; arrest them; and deport them, from now on! These things should of been ongoing for many decades and counting!
California will get it the worst.. But the economy is booming there so no worries.. /Sarcasm
Since the Feds won’t act, the only way to get illegals back where they belong (MEXICO) is for EVERY state in the U.S. to do what Arizona has done.
Ping!
>>Since the Feds wont act, the only way to get illegals back where they belong (MEXICO) is for EVERY state in the U.S. to do what Arizona has done.<<
And Arizona is forcing the state’s hand. As more states do what Arizona is doing, those states that don’t will become little Mexicos. They’ll have no choice but to do the same or face “internal civil war”.
Sounds like the law is already working.
Lets face it - the economy sucks ...
My county just imposted $40 fees for people taking their dogs to the park.
AZ boots illegals - mass influx to CA, drain on already weak economy and social services. Californians get fed up and demand a law like AZ. CA boots illegals - mass influx to Nevada ... and on and on and on ...

Time to start building a lot more tent prisons and buying a lot more mystery meat bologna and sawdust bread!
A few months backlog in properly identifying incarcerated people, who have no ID, even if they eventually give forth with a name, doesn’t mean they are telling the truth...all those coury cases will surely backlog the Arizona investigators and courts for months! >Bo)
Give those jobs to local American kids for summer jobs. They need it! Like America USED TO BE.
Shawhoop Clang!
Shawhoop Clang!
Shawhoop Clang!
That’s the sound of the LibTardCrims
Working on the Chain GA-aaa-Annngs!...
Good. Let them protest and we will then find out how little we need them.
The law is having its effect even before it starts being enforced. If this law were enforced throughout the United States, we wouldn’t have to spend money deporting Mexicans. The Mexicans would leave on their own.
which is exactly what happened the last time we got tuff on the illegals, with “operation wet back”
This is something the State Owned Media does not want us to know about. This enforcing the law is something the legal immigrants understand. For them it is a fairness issue. Why should lawbreakers cut in front of the line and get special treatment? Fairness is the basis of all law and once we apply it, those who know they are illegal will know the free ride is over will leave this country to avoid the legal cost.
I would like to see some comprehensive immigration reform come from the R’s. Make immigration easier, but make it all-but-impossible for those that have criminal records here in the states...including the crime of being an illegal immigrant. A mass exodus out of the country would occur if they thought they had a chance to get back legally. Somehow...someway...I think this would work...

Ummm, isn’t that their normal day at the office?
When put together, as I expect, the governor of AZ will be able to brag that all numbers have gone down and will finally begin to shout the news: Illegal immigration means lost taxes, higher crime rates, lost jobs, more medical emergencies, higher school budgets, etc. All in all, enforcing immigration laws and securing our borders is very good for Arizona and Americans. Then let us see the Dems attack the supporters of the AZ law.
Long term, border states will be very inclined to follow suit. Other states will want to follow.
Well, why do you not get your next to worthless governor to pass the same law?
Without getting into details, my wife and I have the means to travel pretty much anywhere we want for free. We’ve been boycotting California for going on four years now. We choose to ignore it and it’s products as much as we can.
Yup. I'm not optimistic we can get a similar law on the books, given how full this state is of RINO legislooters, (not to mention Gov. GoodHair)
I hope that Sheriff Joe has enough deputies to take the illegals away to tent city.
Working on it.
A couple of weeks ago, I saw an article about some yankee state, (NH, NJ or something like that), that has almost exact same law as AZ, and has had it for quite some time. I still find it to be interesting that they apparently get a pass on this, while AZ does not.
The left is comprised of small rigidly segregated cults that brainwash inductees with guilt and fear. So it is apparent that the majority of Americans can give two figs about what some emotionally cripple liberal has a fit over.
Great news!
Good luck on your job search...
