I live in OH and things aren’t going too hot here. Bet Portman gets in. And when is that Sherrod guy up for re-election? Hopefully this year, but something tells me it’s not until 2012.

It was announced today that Obama will be in Columbus next month for a Democrat fundraiser. Wonder if Fisher will be there?

Attn National Democrats: It’s not the candidate, it’s your policies and what you stand for that explains why candidate X is losing. The socialist mask is finally off and people are rejecting you. It doesn’t matter if LeBron James is the candidate. If he supports high taxes, abortion, open borders, and weak foreign policy he won’t get elected to animal control.
To: NormsRevenge
I have yet to see any Fisher ads on television and I see a Portman ad almost everyday.

It’s a safe bet that LeBron James does support those things considering he was a big O supporter. Besides, I think Stalin and Mao would be able to defeat LeBron James in Ohio right now.

He’s hired his third campaign manager; Obama’s coming to Columbus for a fundraiser; sounds like a recipe for something.
Go Rob Portman! Win BIG!

Lee Fisher is not a nice person. He is also the ‘progressives’ “Progressive”.
Brown needs to go, too.

I also live in Ohio and do not think Fisher has a snowball’s chance. I also do not think any dem on the ballot this year has much of a chance. WE have to get Strickland and Brunner out of office to ensure that elections in 2012 are fair and not a repeat of 2008!

I once worked at a law firm that also employed Lee Fisher “not a nice person” is a massive understatement!

I agree with your assessment. I live in Cincy and I’ve seen dozens of Portman commercials in the past couple of months. Rob is running a smart campaign and focusing his message on economic issues (jobs, taxes). He is also spending most of his time in Columbus, Toledo, and NE Ohio where he isn’t very well known yet. I like his chances more and more every day.
Ohio will be ground zero on Election Day with the Governor’s race and several tough Congressional races (Kilroy, Driehaus, Boccieri, Sutton, and Space are all being challenged).

Maybe, but with the Republicrat Party we have to deal with in this state, whats the difference? The rats and crats conspired in the primary to discount petitions meant for Tea Party endorsed conservative candidates, we didn`t even have a choice for Governor, so I should just vote for Kasich? WOW, I`m so freekin excited I could just take a crap, and that`d just about express what I feel for the most of Ohio Republicrap Party.

Ohioan here as well and we have a chance this year to get rid of Strickland and to get in Portman. One of the most beautiful things happened in the primary voting when Brunner lost to Fischer. THAT WAS GREAT! I have a strong feeling that the Dems are sunk in Ohio this year. There was a special election for the Democrat candidate to go up against Mike Turner here in my district and I think about 1% of the vote turned out!!! HA HA HA! Let's just hope that "enthusiasm" continues.
