I think an unfortunate dynamic is at work here. With unemployment raging along in NV at 14.2 - 20 percent, people have given up trying to figure out what’s the cause, and how to escape it so they can prosper again. So, like those in MI, they fall in to support the candidate who promises them the basics... a few extra bucks... more food on the table. Too hell with future prosperity; they just want someone to feed them, regardless of who put them in their current situation. Look at MI... same thing happening there, too.

Look for "The October Surprise.” Ohaha's ordered the DNC to provide every Dem w/ the book, 'Get Sexier in Ninety Days.'

" And Robert Redford's going to show Dems how to smolder before a teleprompter."

Harry practices "smoldering."

This oughta clinch it for Angle.

"That's far enough, Obama. Don't stand too close to me. And don't mention Democrat, healthcare,
amnesty and my name in the same sentence."

Exactly. She has to remind people of what LV has right nw and if they want more of this then Harry is their guy. With the unemployment at 15% there is a lot there to exploit.

Exactly!

Reid isn't going to get anymore popular in the next few months.

I agree - she needs some polishing real fast!

This doesn't require that much polish, really. A simple "report card" style ad on Reid would go a long way towards nailing the lid on his political coffin. "Nevadans wanted X, Reid voted for Y" is a hard message to beat, even with the Dems' bag of dirty tricks.

The question is... why is no such ad campaign yet visible? I'm beginning to think the GOP's campaign staffers have been replaced with Socialist pod people.

Then we should bring back Snarlin’ Arlin Spector and Jim Jeffords to the party. If we get a majority and in the process add 5 more worthless aisle crossers, we’ll be back out of power in two years as Obama is able to still pass his crap and also blame the Republicans for the result. If our side continues to vote everyone in with an R next to their name, we are wasting our time voting in Democrat lite.

Looks like the Tea Party has messed up another easy GOP win in to a close election.

Angle should be hitting hard and fast and not be lazy in her campaign.

Did the NRA endorse Reid?

No, they have not.

As of this date the NRA has not endorsed any candidates for the upcoming US Senator's election. The buzz that the NRA has endorsed Reid is all false rumor (at least it is at this point).

If you would would like to read the NRA's own words on how they are at least entertaining the idea of supporting Reid and their reasons for thinking this, read this from the NRA-ILA page.
NRA-ILA Statement on Reid

As a proud NRA Life Member I have let them know my position, and that is Harry Reid may not be a direct anti-gunner (as interpreted by his voting record in the article I linked), but he is an enabler to those that are. Reid enables and empowers Judges and Elected Officials that are direct threats to my Civil Rights protected by the 2nd Amendment and must be strongly opposed.

I tend to think the NRA will do the right thing here and oppose Reid, but they do need to hear from the membership.

Your premise that a conservative cannot win but a moderate can win is just not true. Both go against the Hollywood TV dish trendy set.

Most of the wave-makers on the right have come from the midwest such as John Ashbrook from Ohio, Phil Crane from Illinois, Michelle Bachmann from Minn., and so on. Are you saying that a Bob Dole moderate can win but a Ronald Reagan conservative can’t? Only a conservative can win by a landslide because only a conservative will reach out to the people’s leaders like the Eduardo Verastequis and the Marinelle Thompsons and create excitment.

Correct. Ideology is one thing and campaign organization is another. One can be moderate, conservative, or liberal and have either an excellent campaign organization or a incompetent one...the latter is Angle’s problem and not her ideology.
