The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has released a 55-page guidance to help its employees advance environmental justice for low-income and minority communities.
Achieving environmental justice is an Agency priority and should be factored into every decision, the document says.
The move comes 16 years after President William Clinton signed an executive order directing every federal agency to "make achieving environmental justice part of its mission." And Barack Obama campaigned on a promise to make "environmental justice policies a priority within the EPA."
'Fair treatment and meaningful involvement'
The EPA says its new guidelines will help its rule-writers identify potential environmental justice concerns, and it instructs them to analyze the impact of their rules on low-income and minority populations.
The EPA defines environmental justice as the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people, particularly minority, low-income, and indigenous populations, and tribes, in the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
The guide states that from now on -- in the process of developing rules, policy statements, risk assessments, and other regulatory actions -- EPA managers and staffers must first ask themselves, Does this action involve a topic that is likely to be of particular interest to or have particular impact upon minority, low-income, or indigenous populations, or tribes?

On the theory that it is not a complete Clusterfark until it is a Racial Clusterfark.
Hay, Elected Law Makers, are you feeling the power slipping from your grip. Why not just hand the keys to the Constitution to the unelected regulators?
Would it be too much to ask you yo READ the BILL so you know what’s in the Bill before you vote.
Environmental justice advocates have been successful many times in protecting blacks and poor from employment and prosperity.
The move comes 16 years after President William Clinton signed an executive order directing every federal agency to “make achieving environmental justice part of its mission.” And Barack Obama campaigned on a promise to make “environmental justice policies a priority within the EPA.”
Environmental justice by executive Order? Not voted on by elected law makers?
Define environmental justice
“Historically, the low-income and minority communities that carry the greatest environmental burdens haven’t had a voice in our policy development or rulemaking, said EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson in announcing the release of the guide.
I didn’t know that EPA was elected to make rules. The EPA must think they are a branch of government.
It’s not only unconstitutional, the EPA is modeled after Hitler’s Reichsnaturschutzgesetz of 1935. This nature protection law established guidelines for safeguarding flora, fauna and national monuments across the Reich. It also restricted commercial access to Germany’s resources. It required all national, state and local officials to consult with Naturschutz authorities before undertaking any measures that would produce alterations in the countryside.
Ein volk! Ein reich! Seig heil!!
The left is doing to the word “justice” what they have already done to the words “liberal” and “progress” - making them synonymous with fascist socialism.
“Environmental justice advocates have been successful many times in protecting blacks and poor from employment and prosperity.”
And doing a great job of it, too.
They use less energy, and produce less waste, because they are poor. See? It’s working!
I used to be a contractor for the EPA. I will never forget on one site in south GA, when the NAACP and Sierra Club managers marched up to the trailer demanding to see the work site and seeking “environmental justice.” The NAACP guy was the one who was killed in a car wreck later; can’t remember his name.
Anyway, the fed agent was out so I told them they could wait in the trailer and nothing more. They ranted about poor black people etc. I pointed to the historical aerials of the site showing no homes ie the poor black people moved to the site and built homes to work there.
They left.

EVERYTHING with these people is about the “oppressor” class against the “oppressed” class and how to grab money from the hard-working normal people and give it to those who vote democrat.
Not familiar with how these current clowns will define environmental justice rules, but under Clinton, the agency would attack a factory because it was polluting near poor families, factory would close and pay for cleanup, democratic contributing developer would pick up the land for development at rock bottom price, and the poor workers would lose their jobs. Win-win for everyone.
“justice” is now White guilt. These marxists are now using White guilt to justify any and all marxist actions.
Just in case there was anyone still in doubt, when the government says “so-and-so justice” in any context, it’s simply Marxist shorthand employed to refer to all of the countless special rights and privileges allocated to Democrats and their followers.
Thanks. Will forward.
