…In the end it is just the SOP of the Republican Party. Find and issue and whip up hysteria, without consideration of the long term affects or what might be lost by the tactic. It is just another of the legion of reasons why the modern Republican Party can not be trusted with the government of the United States or any single state for that matter. The radicalization they claim will come from mosques is just a pale reflection of the radicalization that has occurred in the ranks of their Party. If there is a group to fear, it is Radical Republicans, which is basically to say the most of the Republican Party at this point.

I know several hysterical liberals like this. One says that he’s scared to death of the Southern Baptist Theocracy that the GOP would create if they had the power, but he thinks that an Islamic Theocracy would be OK.
Another thinks that fundamentalist Christians want to kill gays, but that all the stories of Islam actually killing gays are false.

This fool needs to look at history...........and......go all the way back to ancient history. Since then, nothing has changed. Islam is death to any other culture that does not agree with them. Your freedoms will be taken away from you....period. It’s no longer worth taking the chance on them. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” That saying has stood us very well in our history. If we dont’ listen to history, and we will make mistakes from time to time, we are doomed to repeat it. Mistakes can be corrected from time to time. Destruction takes much, much longer.
I can write that because its true. Virtually every notable conservative gone liberal is gay. Yes, you can be fiscally conservative gay, as per the log cabin pubbies, but most are liberals because they value “gay rights” above all and are willing to throw away fiscal conservatism in order to have those rights. Would the log cabin boys vote for Sarah Palin for prez over some gay friendly dem who supports gay marriage? Not likely.
