Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, landed in the Hamptons Friday for a family vacation with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender-rights activist David Bohnett.

PhD, Education. Here's the funniest part, she's not even a professor - she's an instructor at a community college.
My wife, who is also a PhD (literature) and is a tenured professor at an actual 4-year university, laughs every time she hears "Dr. Jill Biden". My wife NEVER uses that title outside of an academic environment.
I would add - have you EVER heard Mrs. Lynne Cheney refer to herself as Dr. Cheney? Of course not. But, Lynne IS also a PhD who is WELL published and has held leadership positions in multiple academic and government organizations . More evidence all the Biden are pompous d-bags.

David Bohnett has long been an avid supporter of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (”LGBT”) movement. In delivering his acceptance speech (bohnettfoundation.org/speeches/view/35), Bohnett spoke out against religious institutions which oppose the homosexual lifestyle, stating that “In order to achieve permanent and lasting gains and maintain our momentum it’s important that we target the sources of the intolerance and discrimination towards lesbian and gay kids and their families.” Bohnett went on to say, “It’s time to combat head-on the religious organizations that are funding the opposition to marriage equality and safe school legislation.”
Mister Bohnett is a well known and big, big, BIG giver. Through his eponymous foundation he supports a myriad of arts, education, and civic programs including the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, The Wildlife Alliance, the ACLU, and Equality California.
