At least four people are reportedly injured after a series of rockets were fired at the southern Israeli town of Eilat.
A series of explosions were heard in and around the resort town in far southern Israel near the borders with Jordan and Egypt.
Israeli media say five rockets were fired at the city by militant groups either in Jordan or the Sinai Desert.
The attacks come three days after militants in Gaza fired a Katyusha rocket at the Israeli city of Ashkelon, and a more crude rocket into the Negev Desert.
In retaliation Israeli forces on Saturday bombed two smuggling tunnels in the southern Gaza Strip.
I continue to harbor fantasies of counter-battery radar being used to target the shooters, though I know that they use human shields and would win the propaganda battle (after all, it’s okay to shoot at Israeli civilians, but not terrorists!). So perhaps shells filled with pig manure would be nice.

Uh? In retaliation? Bombing smuggling tunnels requires no “excuse” as this note seems to imply.
In most situations human shields are willing participants in the war against Israel (people like Saint Pancake). I sincerely hope that Israel stops caring about enemy propaganda and starts shooting back, and hard.
What I don't understand is that at this point, Israel has 0 to lose media-wise, why not go all out?

The opening round to another war?
Forgetting the ancient history, once the Jews were given a homeland and the so-called Palistinians were give theirs, the Palis and other Arab nations immediately declared war on the Jews.
Fast forward to some 10 years ago or so, Arafat didn't get some 10% of his demands at the Camp David Accords and immediately declare an Intifada against the Jews.
I remember back in the late '90s the Palis bombing and killing innocent women and children. The Jews built a wall to defend themselves and the palis lost their jobs. So sorry, dumbasses.
Fast forward again, Israel was stupid to pull out of Gaza and leave it to the gutteral palis, which they immediately destroyed the infra-structure because it was built by Jews.
Now they demand more. The worthless UN wants to give more to them and continually condemn the Jews.
How much intellect does it take to see when a people/culture are just plain self-destructive? How long is the World going to keep talking about so-called Pali refugee camps, when in reality, they are towns? How long does Western civilization have to support these no-load murderous parasite cultures?
Oh, right, all cultures are equal, as the bleeding hearts claim. Kiss my ever-loving aware a**. So the tribes of the Amazon who have done nothing for mankind are on the same playing level as Western civilization? What the hell have they contributed to the betterment of mankind? Oh, right, poison darts.
When is the World going to recognized that Palis indoctrinate their children and don't bother to build any industry or economic viablility? How long do we have to support these barbaric a-holes who cut the their own heads and the heads of their children in their obscene rites?
Islam is the biggest threat against Western civilization that has given so much to world prosperity and liberty. Palis are leeches who demand they get more stuff from the world community, while producing nothing other than generations of hateful children?
My answer: Bomb them all into oblivion. I'm sick and tired of the hateful/bullies of the world. Kill them all. I really mean that...destroy them so we can live in peace.
Here's a point to consider: We all die. Why not make the a-holes of the World die quicker? What? I have no heart on my sleeve? Too damn bad. I want to see ALL the bad guys just DIE and get the frig off my Planet.

Obama has put America squarely against Israel.
OAS and UN aren’t working, so they should be either replaced or eliminated.
The Islamiists are openly and clearly on a path to worldwide domination. They are willing to use any path necessary. They are openly willing, and in fact, proud to kills as many of us as they can. They will proceed at a spee guaranteed to give them the results they seek, as fast as they can achieve them without pushing us into a nuclear response.
In other words, we have let them decide the terms and timetable of our destruction.
Limited thermonuclear war, directed at the Islamic power centers may be impossible to comprehend, and it may also be our only option.
The propaganda war can be won if the price becomes to expensive.
That means the collateral damage needs to be increased by perhaps 20 fold. A hundred deaths or two hundred deaths per pop raises the stake considerably and would change the game.
Twenty tit for tat should be the new game.

Israel never wanted Gaza. They only occupied it after war. In fact part of the Camp David accords were that Israel had to KEEP Gaza from Egypt (who recognized an asset drain in the Palestinians). The filthy Palestinians want it all and all the UN (US) money and aid wont change that..
