The big spenders who shelled out $30,400 a head for dinner with President Obama at the Four Seasons restaurant and at Anna Wintour's house didn't actually break any bread with him.
After starting Tuesday night at a dinner for 60 high-rolling Democratic supporters hosted by hedge-fund billionaire Marc Lasry, Obama headed to a private room at the Four Seasons to wolf down steak, potatoes and broccoli with two aides before heading to Wintour's Greenwich Village home.
Obama arrived at the Four Seasons at 5 p.m. Spies said he gave a short speech and schmoozed with 60 attendees, including Lasry and Joan Ganz Cooney, wife of Blackstone Group's Pete Peterson, and ex-Martha Stewart CEO Sharon Patrick, sitting briefly at each table before dining alone.

He didn’t want the suckers, excuse me, I mean donors and supporters, to see aides cutting up his meat for him.
He may disappear altogether by election time and folks .. there will be nothing to fight against because he won't exist.
He does have a very scary eating style, judging by the photos I’ve seen.
However, does anybody know if Muslims have any special table customs that might have given him away if he had been seen formally dining in public?
Having him retire to a private room with 2 aides in order to eat his dinner at a dinner party is just too strange for words. Can you imagine if Bush had done that? The press would be calling for a sanity hearing.
I don’t know what’s up with those people but I wouldn’t be very happy if I paid $30k and he did that to me.

Actually, I wouldn’t have a meal with O for less than $100K, and then I’d have to get paid in cash, U.S. bills, up front, and no taxes taken out.
