Actually, I think he’s just a total moron who meant to say “rope a dope” and instead came up with “okey-doke.”
Don’t know how you can make that kind of mistake (especially if you’re ostensibly a black man), but that’s what I thought when I first read the quote.
I heard another clip of Hussein this morning and noted that the malignant chameleon had also trotted out his hilarious (to me) "William Shatner-esque" inflection. Even his insincerity is phony.

An unlikely echo
Carrie Budoff Brown noticed a rather off-message echo in Obama’s stump speech last week, and writes that Obama added to his stump speech in South Carolina several lines that echoed a speech attributed to Malcolm X.
“They’re trying to bamboozle you,” Obama said for the first time Wednesday in Sumter, S.C., to a predominantly African American crowd while refuting e-mails falsely identifying him as a Muslim. “Don’t let people turn you around because they’re just making stuff up. That’s what they do. They try to bamboozle you, hoodwink you.”
Obama repeated those lines frequently as he traveled around the state.
The lines echo the best-known version of the Malcolm X speech, which comes from Spike Lee’s biopic. It’s a stinging address full of blunt racial division, which warns blacks about being “hoodwinked” and “bamboozled” by “the white man.”
He thinks the Pubbies are counting on the electorate forgetting? I think that’s projection, a wee bit.
The news has to be managed carefully now until November so that he electorate forgets or does not see what is going down!

I think it’s some sort of black buzzword for fooling slaves or some such thing.
"Obama's references to "the okey doke" seemed to baffle some commentators, although it's an old American (especially African-American) term for a feint, a juke, a balletic sidestep that dodges the direct attacks of an opponent and instead turns his own arguments and momentum against him.
