Who’s paying for the other 59 suites? The 80 Secret Service Agents and hundreds of police officers? The jet fuel for a “private citizen” (to quote Robert Gibbs) on vacation? This would be bad enough if it was 1998 and we had money, but this is the worst economy in EIGHTY YEARS for pity’s sake!! You can’t buy a job in most places and they take a vacation every week or two! I’m disgusted that there aren’t millions of us in DC right now with pitchforks, torches, tar & feathers and perhaps.....

So Big Foot says she will pay for her excesses with whose salary, and that salary is funded by whom, and for doing what? These moochers have claimed to be just like our neighbors, not like the politicians from established wealth, such as Kennedy, McCain, Rockefeller, and Bush. Sorry you pack of squatters, my neighbors have to go to work everyday to be paid by a salary so they can eat and have a roof over their heads.

She should be able to recognize prestige and manic spending and consumption that springs from a need for self-esteem, very common among nouveau riche liberals and yuppies with emotional needs and a sense of entitlement. This is what she thinks wealthy and powerful people do. And apparently this need overrides any sense of inappropriateness, given the economic woes afflicting many Americans, the gulf oil diaster, etc. For similar reasons Barry's mother-in-law stays busy eyeing the White House silverware, china, and tea services, tucking away spoons and forks for a rainy day. Those who had traumatic childhoods or who feel they were wronged earlier in life have more trouble with self-esteem spending.

A shopping spree in Paris should come next. Maybe she could travel around France telling school kids which food groups to eat in order to avoid getting fat....
