I've seen the video before. That video is in no way contradictory to CNN piece. Lakin does not believe Obama was born in HI, or at least he has not seen compelling evidence that Obama was born in HI.
Lakin is not asserting Obama isn't an NBC because his father wasn't a US citizen. If he were, there would be no need to obtain the HI BC. As a matter of fact, you'd stipulate the HI birth, and then argue that as a matter of law, he still doesn't qualify. That isn't what Lakin is alleging. CNN is right, for once.

No harder than you finding a quote stating - WHICH YOU INITIALLY STATED - that Lakin DOESN'T want the birth certificate.

An original birth certificate is but one way to prove his eligibility.
His father's British citizenship is one way to prove he isn't.
Fact: A natural born president would be **HONORED** to promptly prove ( with the **best** evidence) to any soldier or citizen that he was indeed natural born and eligible to be president and Commander in Chief.
Conclusion: That Obama has treated military officers and citizens in the manner that he has, strongly indicates that he is a usurper.

He has shown his ability to gather information and make informed decisions and he is incredibly brave to take the road that he knows will likely bring ridicule and pain in order to do what he believes to be honorable and right.
Jumping up and down, and getting red in the face about legal points doesn't make the public relations aspect of Larkin’s case go away. A real natural born American president would **never** treat military officers and other American citizens in the imperial manner that Obama has done. ...Certainly NOT over something as easy to prove as natural born citizenship!
There is more to Obama’s eligibility that mere law. Public relations and public opinion win or lose elections. There is only so much that the DemocRATs can do in the way of fraud. At some point valid ballots will overwhelm even the most brazen Democratic election fraud.

Obama has openly admitted his father was not a US citizen, but a Kenyan, and because of such, Obama, Jr was at the time of his birth, was eligible for Kenyan citizenship.
You're not thinking very rationally, or logically. If you're going to make the argument that Obama isn't eligible despite being born in HI, then there is no factual or legal reason you need to see his birth certificate. The pertinent facts would all be stipulated and are a matter of public record.
The only reason to see Obama's so-called long form birth certificate is to prove or disprove his HI birth, apprently.
The ENTIRE premise of Lakin's argument has NOTHING to do with the nationality of Obama's father, and everything to do with the birth certificate. I have seen no quotes from Lakin nor his counsel that indicate Obama isn't qualified even if he was born in HI. That is not the argument Lakin is making.
