What a coinky-dink. First Lady Michelle Obama's five day stay at the Villa Padierna in Marbella, Spain, is taking place at the same time as a Hollywood A-list, European elite charity dinner is being held there.
According to the Associated Press, Obama and her friends plan to attend:
The Obama party is due to attend a charity event hosted by actors Antonio Banderas and Eva Longoria on Saturday night, Marbella newspaper La Tribuna said.

Meanwhile at the five-star luxury Villa Padierna, where the group have chosen to spend their mini-break, preparations were under way for Marbella's event of the year – a star-studded charity gala hosted by Hollywood A-listers Antonio Banderas and Eva Longoria.
Expectation was high that the First Lady would be the special guest at the event on Saturday night after she received a personal invitation from Ms Longoria, star of Desperate Housewives, who lent her support to Barack Obama during his presidential campaign.
More than 400 tickets have been sold for the Starlite Gala at 1000 euros each, according to organisers, and reports suggested that this week another 200 people had applied for tickets and were on a waiting list after learning that Mrs Obama might be present.
What an amazing coincidence that Michelle "Let's Party" Obama booked her jet-set style vacation when the jet-set was in town.
Ya know, that belt thing as a fashion accessory is way beyond me. Even Elizabeth Hasselback was wearing it on Fox the other night, and it even looked horrible on her.

You know, I never thought of that. I don’t think this clan is any too bright, and one thing for certain is that the Clintons know how to play the game. These non-stop vacations, golf outings and over the top extravagence on the taxpayer’s dime might make for some interesting election ad material.
What fries me is how Sarah Palin was crucified over trivial nickel and dime expeditures as governor, while this clown posse blows tens of millions of the taxpayer’s money on in your face extravagence. Hopefully there’s some good video out there of some of these vacations to serve as background material a couple years hence.
It’s hideous beyond belief. Even someone with a good figure can’t wear ugly clothing, so why Michelle thinks it flatters her is a mystery.

Pres. Bush had a ranch in Texas which he had built to specifications which save energy, and he paid for it himself. It had all the equipment available to the Oval Office, and it was called the Second White House. Instead of taking a copter or a jet to play golf as Zero does, he sometimes used his own property to go fishing. He had a low carbon footprint while in his own ranch in Texas.

No way Bush worked less than this guy. 0 doesn’t even show up until 11:00 just in time for a lunch party with some celebrity. The “Bush took more vacation” line has been thrown out by the media and I want to see proof!
