obama message booed at the boy scout national jamboree 2010
I absolutely love this.
He went on “The View” and phoned it in for the Boy Scouts.
“Boo Barack Hussein Obama Go be president somewhere else”
Who’s side u on Mr and Mrs America....Obama the interloper or the Boy Scouts of America?
According to the tag on the video, they were booing him because he didn’t show up to their gathering and “THAT’S ALL!!!!!!!!” (That’s how it was put on the video).
On the video itself there’s a pop up message that says he was being boo’d because he didn’t show up.
IMO, Obama sounds inebriated in his statement to the Scouts:
It will be enjoyed by the Obama Wookie!
Hooray for the Boy Scouts-gives them a leg up on the Eagle Scout badge.
As an Eagle Scout, I’d have boo’d him if he DID show up, too.
Fundamentally, at the core of my being, I boo this creature’s every word and every act. It runs like a sacred mantra through my mind.
I even boo him all night in my sleep. It would probably annoy my wife, but she says if it wakes her up she joins right in. Leaves her feeling peaceful and rested in the morning.
Boy Scouts booing the President of the United States. Absolutely wrong and disgusting.
Suitably sized for throwing.
It made it to Drudge.
Posted here yesterday on 6AUG2010.
“Boy Scouts booing the President of the United States. Absolutely wrong and disgusting.”
Yes, I agree. Booing a man who is leading the charge to destroy this country, disrespects the Boy Scouts by not showing up to the 100th anniversary, and his fellow Leftists who are doing their best to destroy the Boy Scouts shouldn’t be booed at all. He deserves the utmost respect and reverence! Right?
Boy Scouts booing an enemy of this country, I think that’s commendable.
The Resident got what he deserves
Even if they were not booing him, just booing the fact he did not show up at such an event makes a great statement.
The screens they had at the event was a nice touch...almost like teleprompters except facing the crowd this time.
BS - of all of the institutions I would expect of at least a modicum of civility and respect, it is the Boy Scouts. Some folks just can’t seem to get over the fact that we live in a representative democracy; we have elections, people argue about policies, one side prevails, and then we do it all over again. Barack Obama is the president - it ain’t the end of the world - it’s just the way it is.
And you would have said the same about King George III during colonial times. The Boy Scouts booing at this criminal and Impostor-In-Chief is nothing compared to how the New England colonists behaved toward the King.
Should they cheer Osama Bin Laden? Obama’s policies are going to be responsible for the deaths of more people than Bin Laden. Between his inept handling of Afghanistan (More soldiers dead since he cme into office than in the years of W, according to the last story I read), the healthcare bill that will probably kill my mom and grandmother, the huge national debt that my son and future generations wil NEVER be able to pay off, and some young boys in the crowd recognize that and voice their opinions. Yes, we live in representative democracy, but enemies of this country do not get cheered by patriots.
My son is an Eagle Scout and I was in Scouts and serve as an Assistant Scoutmaster in an underprivileged school troop in the mainly black third-ward of urban Houston. In society, no matter BSA or not, there is a limit to the cheating, lying, stealing, and duplicity that citizens (including these boys) have to tolerate from anyone including the President. The fact that the booing comes from 35,000 of our nations best and brightest and most accomplished children must only indicate that the Republic is in very deep danger. Scouts, and indeed all citizens in every organization in this country, have every right to openly criticize a rouge thug leader who is clearly doing all in his power to destroy our nation and freedoms. With respect, you seem to be missing the severity of the threat to the survival of the USA. In case you missed it, the country is in the midst of a coup.
Agreed. He is a Saudi mole and Bloomberg is also a stooge for the Saudis. The Boy Scouts have more guts than the judiciary, Pentagon and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Good thing Big Brother was there to interpret things for us...'cuz we too stoopid.
“According to the tag on the video, they were booing him because he didnt show up to their gathering and THATS ALL!!!!!!!!”
Easily remedied - all he had to do is show up.
He didn’t and he got booed.
Boo - hoo.
(No personal criticism intended - I realize you’re only reporting the message on clip)
I am surprised the MSM hasn’t branded all boy scouts racist over this.
I guess that could be true if there was any evidence that Onada is qualified to be president and is a friend of the Boy Scouts. On both counts—there is none and he is not. The Boy Scuts were merely exercising their 1st Amendment rights. That’s about as American as apple pie.
Your snooty disgust smacks of being a RINO, a lurker or a libertarian. Which is it?
Yo Stormer, your position is indefensible. In fact, I’m disgusted with any American who continues to play pretend that Onada is (1) qualified to be president and (2) is not a Marxist.
That's as believable as an email from a nigerian princess offering $50,000,000.
Two hundred forty odd years ago, people rose up in anger at a system that by the orders of a powerful autocrat who was far removed from the people, they could have the rights that they were born with stripped away from them. By the power of the printing press, they wrote down what they believed in a logical fashion, printed them up, and handed them out in the town square. "This is what I believe, and why! I am saying this in person, so that if any pompous, self-arrogant person tries to shut me up, you will see exactly who is right, and who seeks to hush it up."
A hundred years ago, people so believed in their politics that they fought fist fights in bars over it. They had the guts to hold certain ideas so strongly, they would put their own well-being at risk to protect them.
Today, in Iraq, people risk their lives to vote. But sadly, in the recent past in America, a rainy day might determine an election, because those who actually cared enough to vote might not if it would muss their hair.
But those shallow days are over. People are angry again. People care that powerful men with dainty habits are looking down their noses at us.
Forty years ago, I listened to the Lefty media praise "America's Youth" for protesting the war, and civil inequality, and racism, and any cause that went by. The Media called them great, and they gradually became heroes, because, whatever you personally believed, they stood their ground against powerful politicians who carried on their work in the dark, without public scrutiny. Though they were belittled, and made fun of, and threatened, these people stood up and shouted truth in the face of power. They weren't always right, but they did care and stood tall against those who just wanted them to shut up.
What happened to those supposedly noble kids? They went to college and learned from Liberal professors, and they decided everything in America sucked. And like sleeper cells they waited, until today, the completely miss it irony that it is THEY who wage secret wars hidden in the dark, and who do all they can to destroy the freedom of speech of those who oppose them. They have met the enemy, and "he is them."
Ten years ago, I was lectured to about "patriotism", on how the noblest thing you could do was stand up and speak out against the President. They called the President a Nazi. They claimed he did what he did only to make money on oil. (Remember all those oil contracts America got from Iraq in exchange for freeing them from Saddam? Try "none".) They maligned him, slandered him, and called him a chimp. To his detractors, he was at once a brilliant Mechavalli, and a complete idiot. While he kept America from having another terror attack on our soil during his entire watch, the media frothed at the mouth over the HORRIBLE way that he was "SHREDDING THE CONSTITUTION" by oh, keeping tabs on known terrorists by their phone calls, at least until the Labdog Liberal media TOLD EVERYONE HOW IT WAS DONE. He actually had the GALL to lock up people we thought were enemies of our way of life, in JAIL. Yep, ole Bush was the Devil incarnate, and the press and the Left kept it alive every day, right down to the jokes on the late night comedy shows. But all I heard was, "the most patriotic thing you can do isn't love your country, and want it to be strong and true and free...it's to belittle and harass anyone you politically disagree with. As long as it's a Republican. Because they want people poor, and eating dogfood."
So let me say this, again...I will show this tin-pot, effeminate, socialist, Communist, European, gun-grabbing, baby killing, freedom-stealing, narcissistic, pathetic, self-involved weenie of a President, the exact same amount of honor that all the media, and the Left, and their tools did to a man who struggled in a terrible time to keep us alive, free, and safe, and who despite his shortcomings, saw evil as evil. And if we have raised a generation of scouts who can look at the Emperor at their young age, and still see that he's a pretender in his underwear, you kids boo away. Because it is just exactly what the Lefties wanted you to do...you are just four years out of phase with those who hate this nation.
If I recall Thomas Jefferson's character in 1776, there comes a time when a ruler through his own actions makes himself a tyrant. If we had half the honor these kids have, we'ed all be booing the President in the street. It would never show up on the news, of course, but it would be right there on Utube...until the President uses the power he's given himself to silence it with the Killswitch he's got on the Internet.
Boy Scouts, booing a fopish dandy who wants to destroy the nation. Absolutely right and honorable.
LOL, I can’t wait to see the video on ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN, and read all about it in the New York Times.
That’s why he wouldn’t show up in person ... he cannot stand before young real men because he is light in the loafers ... and is a loafer.
Respect is earned. I’m sure they were booing Barack Obama...not the POTUS.
That’s nice but their parents voted him for him.
“Just wait until the Girl Scouts introduce the new Obama Cookie.”
Just chewing it will be taxing.
And that's on a good day. On a bad day they might tax prosthetic legs that help injured combat veterans walk, or restrict diabetic use of blood sugar test strips to 2 a week.
We know Obama's side ~ and if you think they are deserving of civility you gotta' another think coming Mr.
Now get busy and clean those used catheters. Sick people are waiting.
He’s not a real president, so it’s OK
Obama's appearance at the Jamboree would have been akin to bringing dirty diapers to a VFW meeting.
Totally inappropriate on all levels.
a libtard follower PO’d that his Messiah got booed at the event, good job on booing him although!
The parents of Eagle Scouts? I doubt it!!
Excellent, as usual.
Well done, BTW.
Obama's message to the Scouts on the video screen played like something out of George Orwell's "1984."
"Boy Scouts of America, this is your leader addressing you...."
How much louder would it have been if Mr. Obama had shown up? I guess we can at least give him credit for knowing when he is not welcome.
“Barack Obama is the president - it aint the end of the world”
But he sure is pushing it that way.
About six months ago I bought a few boxes of ‘First Day Covers’ at an estate sale. I found one commemorating the Scouts 50th. Located the closest troop and sent it to them. A couple weeks later received a letter of thanks from the Scoutmaster.
Two days ago while Freeping someone drove into our driveway and I saw a young man in a Scout uniform and his mother get out of their car. Went downstairs and was greeted by their smiling faces. The young man (about 15 years old) introduced himself and handed me a First Day Cover of the 100th commemorative stamp. He had just got of a bus after an 8 hour trip from the Jamboree and hadn't even been home yet. As tired as he was, he insisted that his mom drive up to deliver this most precious gift to me.
Damn! We need more men like this ‘kid’!
God Bless the Boy Scouts.
