It’s time to extend the investigations to exactly how he got there. Don’t the dems need a white guy to investigate?
So true. Here in Michigan the dems just elected in their primary a candidate for governor (Virg Bernero, Mayor of Lansing), who claims to be the “angriest mayor in America”, and is proud of it. Like that’s a virtue!
If he wins the governors race, I would love to be a fly on the wall when he’s in the room dealing with people who just don’t see things his way.
He’s a credit to the Senate. Wait a second, I’ve always had trouble with those accounting terms...
Sounds like your typical everyday liberal scumbag to me...
Don't sweat it, Civ.
When it comes to those goons on the Hill, what's account ability?
Difference is libs get mega MSM coverage for being outrageous.
On the flip side, Pubbies cower and apologize.
Another wackjob who was selected (though illegally) not elected.
He’s definitely an ass... et. Accounting is not my strong suit either.
The guy who actually goads Stuart Smalley on the floor of the Senate runs the risk of becoming a national hero. Who’s got the stones to try?
Yes on one, no on two.
Daily front page news if it’s a Republican.
Franken is the face of the Senate Democrats...a bad joke that got old.
:’) The Quicken, the dead.
Didn’t Caligula appoint his horse to be a Roman senator?
“Blame the Minnesota voters. What did they expect when they elected this fool? “
Blame the Democrat MN voters.
on the way to hell in a hand basket?
I think we have arrived, but I’m willing to negotiate.
What? Your gambling winnings sir? or the other one? LOL!
They didn't vote for him. Norm Coleman won the election, but the votes were recounted several times until enough Franken votes were "found" to put him over the top. It's exactly the same way Al Gore tried to steal the presidential election in 2000, and Christine Gregoire (I think) stole the WA governatorial election. It is unfortunate that the left is so brazen about election stealing these days; in any sane world, they'd be afraid of the consequences.
Yes, and I understand the analogy, but don’t insult horses. ;-)
List all members of either house of congress who are responsible, clear thinking, logical adults.
I will start with the first one I can think of from my own state.
If you vote for a clown, you get a clown!
You forget that there was a spoiler candidate -- Dean Barkley -- who got about 12 or 13 percent of the vote.
Kind of reminds me of how Perot got Clinton elected the first time.
NO cheers, unfortunately.
Don't forget the 32 Franken votes found in the trunk of an election worker's car.
Or the 246 extra votes from Two Harbors -- *all* for Franken.
The cover story here is that the initial recording of the votes there said "Franken -- 27" which left off the final "3". And 273 - 27 = 246.
Or the extra 100 votes for Franken in Partridge.
Again, no changes in vote totals for anyone else.
Try Powerline for more.
NO Cheers, unfortunately.
Who would have ever imagined that Al Franken was imbalanced? I mean, he was such a stable, salt-of-the-earth sort of guy. I can’t imagine what has happened that he’s started acting childish. Have I mentioned that I’ve just arrived here from a parallel universe?
could it be from years of drinking and substance abuse?
isn’t this what happens in general to those types of abusers. Too much pot, booze, cocaine, and whatever else...
If the MN voters had any sense it’s Franken who’d have gotten 12-13% of the vote. I recognize it’s a seriously blue state, but Al Franken? IMO, the man is certifiable.
While R’s are prattling around now already celebrating the big gains in November, I am terrified that we won’t see those gains because of spoiler candidates, some of them “Tea Party” candidates, others conservative challengers to “RINOs.” There’s a time to get rid of RINO’s but it’s not in the general election.
