Bombastic Olbermann is being yanked off NBC's "SNF".......NBC complained it was distracting him from his cable news network show. Olbermann missed several editions of MSNBC's, "Countdown." NBC officials assured reporters that Olbermann's florid, left-of-center politics and tendency to rant against Republicans is not the reason he is being yanked. The Sunday night game is NBC's highest-rated program, and losing his weekly spot will mark the end of the promotion his cable show has been getting the past three years.

Yea sure..I think they finally got tired of all the emails and negative comments from NFL fans.
Now I can turn up the sound.
Still, I've been in the habit of clicking my televsion off or to another channel whenever Olbermann intruded on a football game. Often, I didn't click back until long after the game had resumed. I suspect there are others like me and that this will be a good move for NBC.

What a load of crapola...I for one took time last year to formally complain about having to watch that flaccid schlong while trying to enjoy a football game. In fact I turned the channel when his face hit camera time...the same with millions of others I’m sure...hence no more K.O. on Sunday Night Football.

I turned to some other channel when there was the possibility Olbermoron would on. Now is the question was he really distracted from his own show or was he driving away advertisers from SNF?
they dropped him because it was hurting the ratings, no matter what they say....he is a complete asshole and everyone knows it.
