LAS VEGAS -- Family members and friends are planning a vigil to mark the one-month anniversary of the Las Vegas police slaying of a man in front of a membership warehouse store.
The 9 p.m. Tuesday event is part of an ongoing family campaign to highlight the July 10 death of 38-year-old Erik Scott by police just outside the Costco store in Summerlin.
Police say Scott had a gun and the three officers who shot Scott were responding to reports of a man ripping merchandise inside the store.
Family members say Scott had a concealed weapons permit, and police should release store surveillance video of the slaying. Police say it's possible no video exists. A coroner's inquest has been postponed, with officials planning up to three days of testimony from witnesses

The Costco Security person escalated this beyond the reality.
The officers who fired (SEVEN SHOTS) were dogs on a leash, and somebody in the 'department' let them off the leash.
What is known for sure is that they fired at him very quickly after he exited the door of Costco.
Why is it the LVPD's call to say whether the video exists or not?
Isn't the video the property of Costco?
Why doesn't Costco just release the video to the parents or the news media?

Report of a “Man ripping merchandise inside the store”, what the h**l are they talking about? Do they mean “ripping off” as in stealing or tearing up/destroying something?
Is it too much to use good descriptive wording or is that beyond today’s “reporters”, no need to anwer that.
This really does stink. You can bet that there are videos, nothing but lies, lies and damned lies.

I wonder how the casinos and other businesses in Las Vegas would feel about it if all Vets and families of Vets and folks who believe in the 2nd Amendment would just say:
I will no longer go to Vegas. Nevada is dead to me.
How would they feel if all the corporations who schedule conventions there said: No More!
Because if Costco 'legally' had it in their possession, they could be forced to produce it.
My GUESS is that the actions of the Costco Security employee (exaggerating the incident) would leave Costco open to a huge lawsuit.
So... since the COPS are in just as must 'trouble' if the TRUTH were revealed to the PUBLIC, then they were happy to let the LV Police Chief take the DISK and send it off to California for further 'analysis'.
As long as no one ever sees the original video, the COPS and COSTCO will get away with this.

It does seem America has become a latter day Weimar Republic with a rising tide of political crimes committed by the fascist Left against honest citizens.
Vegas is a union/ mob/ Leftist town that is as corrupt and degenerate as they come and well known as “Sin City.” He could have been murdered to send a “message” that concealed weapons by permit are politically incorrect.
Also his race, gender and class were a factor that made murder very P.C.
