I think the final nail in her coffin was having McCain campaign for her a couple of days ago.

It sure didn’t help her. Buck ran a better campaign toward the end.

Well, I guess those “dumbasses” in the Colorado Tea Party groups decided to support Buck, anyway. Hated to read today that he’s supports convoluted schemes that boil down to just another way to offer amnesty to illegals.

But I hope he’ll still be better than the Dim.

Buck inserted his foot firmly in his mouth a few times in the past few weeks, but he is still hands down better than Norton. And either one would be better than Bennet.

People who keep asking him over and over again about Barack Obama's birth certificate ARE dumbasses.

I have no problem with people subscribing to conspiracy theories (some conspiracy theories have to be true, right?) but let's get real here.

Do they think Buck is hiding a copy of Obama's birth certificate in a lockbox?

Personally I find the link between the alien landing at Roswell and the "birth" of Alien Gore to be more convincing.

Thank God! I can’t vote here in Colorado due to my home-of-record being in Florida (and I wouldn’t ever want to pay Colorado’s taxes, registration fees, etc), but I awaited anxiously as Norton blasted Buck in all forms of media relentlessly. But she pulled the wrong strings by having McCain campaign on her behalf and going after Buck for not prosecuting a Rocky Mountain Gunowners member and gun dealer maliciously under Clinton’s notorious gun laws back in the day.

You jump upon a minor point. It was a big disappointment to learn today that Buck supports McCainesque amnesty double talk and paths to citizenship:

http://durangoherald.com/sections/News/2010/08/05/Ads_hit_GOP_candidates_on_immigration/

I guess Buck is preferable to the Dim Bennett, but it was strange to learn the Tea Party favorite is an amnesty pusher who pretends it’s not amnesty.

The Durango Herald has got it wrong. Buck is against amnesty. I know Ken Buck, and just spoke to him not two hours ago, in person, face to face.

Now, on to throw Bennett out on his kiester come November.....

Will, consider the source...the Durango Herald? Ever been there? It makes Boulder look conservative...

...Norton spun lots of facts around the last few weeks as she saw her lead slip away...

...then she had the "bright" idea to bring McCain to stump for her.

That was political suicide here in Colorado where voters FINALLY are "getting it" with philosophies.

November will be Colorado's chance to ask for a refund for all the "change" we've endured from Obama and his ilk.

Well, I'm far from Colorado and hope you're right, but that paper presents Buck's statements in quotes, statements which sound as if they might have been copied from John McCain. I guess we'll have to wait and see if he makes it to the Senate and the amnesty for illegals issue is still around.

I hope we don't see him huddling with McCain and Graham and Reid and Obama on the amnesty issue in 2011.

"With about 90 percent of the votes counted in Weld County, Buck was trouncing Norton 76 percent to 23 percent."

Illegal immigration is what caused this. Weld county is under heavy onslaught of Illegals. Norton was endorsed by McCain and therefore people did not trust her to hang tough on the issue (though I believe she would have done fine).

McCain's endorsement is the reason she lost statewide.

God bless John McCain, but he is not a fighter (yes, I know, a long time ago he was, he's a people-pleaser who wants above all to be loved.

Yeah, Buck instantaneously went into back peddle mode for being "the dumb@ss". Too bad after-Birthers.

Buck regrets disparaging Tea Partiers (CO Senate)

"Buck campaign spokesman Owen Loftus told POLITICO that the candidate spent Sunday explaining and apologizing for the remark in interviews with the state's two dominant news outlets.
