So why do Republicans accept defeat with grace while Democrats try to switch a close loss into a win through a corrupt recount process?

I can think of several Republicans who have not accepted defeat gracefully. 99% of the time, though, they are RINOs losing to a conservative...

Because Republicans, at least many of them, have a conscience.

Absolutely! The party needs to keep her in its vest pocket and run her again for an appropriate office at the earliest opportunity.

First classy thing she’d done this entire election. I wonder if the ‘good ole boys’ she bitched about so much let her know that going diva would not bode well for her future chances at elected office?

I’ll lay $100 that we’ll see her on a congressional ballot in 2012.

Intraparty squabbles between two relatively conservative candidates in a primary is a bit different don't you think?

Interparty? Scratch and claw until "all the votes are counted" and all the illegal votes are crap canned.

FREE ADVERTISING ~ when you demand a recount in a primary you get your guy's name in the press, and even if the other guy's name gets in there too.

This is part of the BRANDING PROCESS where every additional mention has value even if its negative in its implications.

Republicans became known as the "Stupid Party" in part because they fail to take advantage of modern advertising and market share theory to help win elections.

Kind of puts a lie to the idea that Republicans favor Markets and Capitalism.

This particular election is so close there's no doubt additional disputation would bring out more Republican voters in the end, and also attract some Democrat voters for no other reason than constant repitition of the candidate's names. Remember, both are Republicans so what is to lose.

As of this morning, we are four tenths of a percentage point behind Nathan Deal with absentee ballots and overseas military votes yet to be counted.

Why concede? They may put her over the top?..............
