NHGOP Denounces NH Dem Candidate's Palin Death Wish Dem NH House Candidate Wishes Gov. Palin Was On Sen. Stevens Fatal Plane Crash
CONCORD The New Hampshire Republican State Committee today denounced Democrat NH House candidate Keith Hallorans public death wish for former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The Party also called on Governor John Lynch and Congressional Candidate Ann McLane Kuster to personally denounce his hateful remarks and call for him to apologize to the Palin family.
In a Facebook post yesterday regarding the tragic plane crash that killed former Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, Halloran wrote, Just wish Sarah and Levy [sic] were on board." Levi Johnston is the father of Governor Palins grandson (RedHampshire, 8/11).
Mr. Hallorans outrageous comments are a new low, even by the standards of the New Hampshire Democrat Party," said NHGOP Communications Director Ryan Williams. "His publicly stated death wish for Governor Palin and her family is abhorrent, and has no place in our public discourse. Governor Lynch and Ann McLane Kuster need to immediately denounce Mr. Hallorans hateful remarks and demand that he personally apologize to the Palin family.
Mr. Halloran served on the Rindge, NH planning board. He is running as a Democrat for State Representative this year in Cheshire County House District 7. He describes himself as an active local citizen and supporter of NH Governor John Lynch (Jaffrey, Rindge, Dublin Democrats Committee website). Mr. Halloran is also a prominent supporter of Second Congressional District Candidate Ann McLane Kuster.
I can smell their fear of her all the way down here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It smells like the most delicious grilled steak I ever ate.
I lived in NH for 5 years and loved it, but it’s not the same place that I knew. Too many massholes moved up north to get away from the hell they had created only to try and recreate it in NH.
Outrageous and disgusting!!!
Will the RAT party force him to make a FORMAL apology for this miserable insult???
I am not going to hold my breath on that one.
How about have him arrested for making death threats?
I actually saw several of the same comments on Facebook yesterday after the crash was posted by breaking news and local news groups.
People hate Palin, because they are afraid of her and what she represents.
Be afraid, be very afraid.
And we Republicans are the ones being accused of being filled with hate. There is not one ounce of humanity in liberals.
Halloran should be pressured to terminate his campaign.
Ads should go up about this typical democrat comment.
They should tell him to be quiet, or they will splash Holy water on him.
The media only notices these outrages when they choose to.
It's reprehensible! And the fact that the NHGOP has denounced Halloran's publicly published death wish, while the NHDNC has not, only proves that Gibson's remarks about these people all needing drug testing was right on the mark.
He should be investigated. Who else has he wished death on? Has he made direct threats? Has he been treated for mental illness?
“I can smell their fear of her all the way down here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It smells like the most delicious grilled steak I ever ate.”
UPDATE: POST 7 is NOT HIM! Keith, not Kevin is the culprit.
...she's doing something right.
I think it’s worse than that. The guy is running for office, so he has to figure that his voters will respond positively to his comments.
Out here on the left coast, particularly in liberal enclaves, Palin has a similar effect. She’s considered fair game for the vilest “jokes”, commments, and ill-informed snobbery.
I figure she must be over the target, because she’s sure taking the flak....
