A real Commander-in-Chief in action . . . brings a tear to my eye!
He looks very healthy! Happy and healthy!
Check this out — a real Commander-in-Chief in action!
What a wonderful break in the news, and boy do I miss that smile!
Thanks for the ping, DrDeb!
What class! What poise! What warmth! What humanity! What compassion! What responsibility! What charm! What are we doing with a donkey in the White House today?
Man, and I was already depressed today about the economy and looking for a job. I sure do miss President Bush’s love for the country.
You will find more photos here:
I miss W.
Still our greatest Commander-in-Chief; compare to a dictator in the White House today.
Just AWESOME!!! G*D Bless GW
Thank you so much! This made my day...and week...and month!
Thanks for this post.
We go out to DFW every couple of months to greet the troops. Any FReepers in the DFW area should consider doing it. It is a great feeling.
I wish I had gone to see W, Mrs. Bush and Moose. It would have been priceless to see the look on the troops faces.
I have my problems with G.W. Bush, BUT.
My Marine Lieutenant nephew got killed in Fallujah and President Bush was wonderful many times to my sister in law and her husband.
We all will NEVER forget his kindness, time and heart.
And Mrs. Bush is heavenly.
This warms the heart, too
Thanks for ping Deb
Mac daddy wanted to attend but more pressing business would not allow this to fit into his schedule, you know the golfing thing,or the vacation thing or the party thing or the hangover from the nose candy -— oh whatever, it was more important than the troops anyway.
Oh my! I sure do miss him... (darned blurry screen...)
“Still our greatest Commander-in-Chief”
I couldn’t agree more!
you and me both!!
I knew you’d both love these photos and have the same ‘tearful’ reaction that I had!!
Our soldiers Love Bush...no doubt about it....saw this all thru his administration and look even now no one can hold the “candle” he does for our troops. He represents what they wish were otherwise from the current administration which will never happen.... Wrong man in the pulpit now.
Oh my gosh! What an incredible contrast between Bush with the troops and obama!.....Striking to say the least!
Obama couldn’t even find a hand to shake except for the suits on stage with him! Furthermore when Bo was announced none of the troops clapped...again only the suits on the stage....amazing contrast!
Our troops miss the leadership they once knew.....:(
