Obama is a child in this politics game compared to the Clinton’s.... pass the popcorn... and the good news could be Sestak down for the count, too!

Romanoff’s loss last night has him steaming a bit, I think.

At the time, it seemed weird they would drop the Clinton name. Seemed like a weird assignment for a former president. While Bill Clinton’s version of the truth is frequently not the same as anyone else - the Obama administration trying to pin the blame on him is equally non-credible if not more so.

Some of the local commentary suggested that Romanoff is more liberal than Bennett, so it may have been a rejection of super liberal politics... but, that would just be degrees of liberal, really.

Since this is a duplicate post (which never bothers me) I'll duplicate my comment on another post dealing with this story; here it is"
I truly think the Clintons are planning for Hillary to challenge Zero for the Dem nomination in 2012. Don't be surprised if she resigns as Secretary of State shortly after the midterms and begins her campaign for President of the United States of America.

I can just see Obama talking to Axelrod and Rahm right now as he reads this news story.

President-"They did it to us again, didn't they."

Axelrod-"Yep, sure looks like it."

Rahm "Maroni" Emmanuel-"I told you motherfargers that you couldn't farging trust those bastidges."

Axelrod-"Listen to the mouth on that guy."

It doesn’t matter if Clinton or Obama is lying....if true of Clinton’s comments, it means that it’s WAR and WAR against Obama and war between the camps of democrats...which diminishes Obama!

Flashback: White House Asked Bill Clinton to Urge Sestak to Drop Out of Senate Race

The White House asked former President Bill Clinton to talk to Rep. Joe Sestak about the possibility of obtaining a senior position in the Obama administration if he would drop out of the Democratic primary race against establishment-backed Sen. Arlen Specter, the Obama administration said in a report released Friday morning.

But the report, by White House Counsel Robert Bauer, concluded that “allegations of improper conduct rest on factual errors and lack a basis in the law.”

Flashback:

Sestak: Clinton offered ‘presidential board,’ maybe intelligence or defense

By Bridget Johnson - 05/28/10 05:10 PM ET

Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) confirmed on the steps of the Capitol on Friday that former President Bill Clinton did call him last summer about a “presidential board” appointment if he didn’t jump into the Senate Democratic primary versus new Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.).

Sestak told reporters that had not previously brought up Clinton’s involvement when alleging that he was offered a job by the White House because he “honestly didn’t feel that it was right” to bring the former president into it.

“It means that it’s WAR and WAR against Obama and war between the camps of democrats...which diminishes Obama!”

I thought that it was very telling that BO and MO weren’t invited to Chelsea’s wedding. You could tell 0bama was really pi$$ed by his comments. He said something like the Clintons “won’t be invited” to the 0bama girls wedding in the future. I thought 0bama looked really angry although he was trying to laugh it off. (Jim’s W)

Some have forgotten B.J.’s skill as displayed under questioning about Monica. The guy is no greenie or shill.

He could have said to Sestak: “You know, I would never try to get you to leave your senate campaign; I hope you stay in, no matter what. And, you never know about campaigns, it’s a tough job. Anyway, if you happened to be available there’s this position open...”

Likely Slick did it even slicker.

Ergo: “ Clinton says he ‘never tried to get Sestak out of the race.’”

President Bush was invited to the Clinton wedding and declined. The Kenyan and The Wookie didn’t even get an invite.

I guess Democrats are throwing in the towel on the PA Senate race, so they’re cutting Sestak loose.

Here’s what Sestak said:

He [Clinton] called last summer and during the conversation he talked about how tough this Democratic primary might be if I got in, and he also said, you know, you’ve done well in the House, and a military background can really make a mark there, and then brought up that during a conversation Rahm Emanuel had brought up about a presidential board or something, you know if I were to stay in the House, and I almost interrupted the president and said, ‘Mr. president, I am going to decide to get in this or not only dependent upon what’s good for Pennsylvania’s working families, not an offer, and he said, ‘I knew you’d say that.’...

If I ever thought anythign had been wrong about this I would have reported it...

I was very conscious that the Democratic establishment did not want me in the race, and I merely looked at this as just another effort by the Democratic establishment in Washington, DC...

There was nothing wrong that was done...

This happened last July, and nobody ever asked me about this...someone asked me, ‘Did they offer you a job?’ and I felt for my own personal accountability, I felt I need to be honest, and I said, ‘Yes,’...and after that I said ‘no comment’ to the follow-on questions that were asked...

No, no just that one phone call [in reference to how many times the offer was discussed]...

This portion of the conversation prob lasted...I would say thirty to sixty seconds, I mean we were on in another conversation, and it came up during it...and almost as he said the words, I almost felt like I was interrupting, I mean nothing rude, just ‘Mr. president, I wouln’t get into...’

He chucked and said, ‘Well Joe I knew you were gonna say that...’

Look, I understand Washington, DC is often about political deals...I didn’t feel bad or good or indifferent, it was just I merely said no and moved on...

Washington does this stype of stuff...

I said I would only not get in if it were the right thing for Pennsylvania working famileis, not for an offer...

[On why he’s kept quiet about it:] I didn’t feel it was right for me, after being called by a former president of the United States, to talk about the details of that conversation...

I didn’t feel comfortable at all talking about a former president of the United States who had called me...

I have great resp and ad for president clinton

I dint’ even know quite what it was exactly, I heard ‘presidential board,’ and i think it was intel...

I almost interrupted, and I think i did a little bit, I mean I wasn’t rude...

I don’t think the ‘Rats gave up PA. They want the GOP to spend money in the state. It’s a set up of the Obama White House and the WH lawyer that drafted the statement. Sestak is a stool pigeon and was set up.
