He's also a Christian. What do you expect from a 90 year old Christian that writes science fiction?

Nothing against Azimov, mind you.

I’m a big SF fan but never read much of his stuff. Now I have a reason to.

Sci-Fi ping.

Wow who would have thought Ray would be saying this at ComicCon. Pretty cool for him to do so. I bet all the Obama Fan Boys were peeing their pants when Ray said that.

This is nothing new for him. He’s also been very outspoken against computers and the Internet.

I met Bradbury when he made an appearance at my local library. I rushed to the local book store, bought a paperback of Martian Chronicles and went back to have him autograph it.

I was so emotional when he autographed it, as i had connected to that book during my awkward high school years. Now if i could have gotten Orwell’s autograph...

I was pretty sure he was a righty when he let it be known that he didn't appreciate Michael Moore's allusion to the name of his most famous book in his stupid 9/11 crockumentary.

IIRC, Mr. Bradbury referred to Moore as "that awful man."

Bradbury has the most beautiful use of the English language of any writer of S/F, IMHO.

If you haven't read him then I don't think you're as big a fan of SF as you think. His writing is amazing and rich in descriptions, characters and plot. Check out some of these from used books and you'll be hooked.

Fahrenheit 451

Something Wicked This Way Comes

I Sing the Body Electric!

The Illustrated Man

Dandelion Wine

The Martian Chronicles
