Watchdog panel cites global impact of US bailout

WASHINGTON (AP) - The $700 billion U.S. bailout program launched in response to the global economic meltdown had a far greater impact overseas than other countries' financial rescue plans did on the U.S., according to a new report from a congressional watchdog.

Billions of dollars in U.S. rescue funds wound up in big banks in France, Germany and other nations.

When we have 10% unemployment and are teetering on the brink of bankruptcy why are we bailing out foreign banks? This is obscene and treasonable. Of course this will hardly be reported if at all in the MSM. Congress as whole should resign as well as Obama.

‘Congress as whole should resign as well as Obama.’

Sure, but TARP was the gift from the previous Admin, they should be put away as well.

This is exactly what Obama said he was going to do when he was campaigning for the presidency. It is what his entire life had been leading up to. I don’t understand why everyone is so surprised.

HE DOES NOT CARE about polls IT IS OBVIOUS because of his NWO of communism

Nov. may be too late.

This is the fruit of Globalism folks, one big interconnected world.

Things such as this is why “Free Trade” agreements are merely facilitators of such activity, TPTB basically created a Marshall Plan II without acknowledging that was exactly what they did with our monies and our children’s monies.

Fritz did not say anything that was untrue, Fleece Traders don’t want to hear it, but it is what is.

America is a Hollow State pretty much run by Banksters and Multi National Corporations from an economic sense of what is best for them, not what is best for America or Americans.

They have no interest in America.

Mind blowing speech by Robert Welch in 1958 predicting Insiders plans to destroy America.

Actually, that speech was in 1974.

I agree. I was just asking what the overall general response was from that truthful speech. I was 11 years old I do not remember.

What I am asking is if this (SEE VIDEO BELOW) was in 1974 I am guessing many called this truthful man a nut. It is right on the money, truth IMO but I am guessing he was called a nut case...

Then you were replying to the wrong post ( 14 instead of 15 ). I was referring to a speech by Robert Welch, who was originally from NC.

You were referring to Fritz Hollings, against whom I voted every time his name came up.

Well, it was an odd mix at the time as nothing like that had been tried before, that was during the time of Perot’s:

“Giant sucking sound of jobs leaving America” was being alternately mocked or seen as truthful.

Of course then there was the 90’s boom and people such as Fritz were told “told ya so” then the bust of 2000 hit, the bust of 2007 hit, all the while wages and incomes declined for those outside of the top 1/3 of the economic demographic.

Which is one of the reasons why Obamao won election in 08, the great middle felt the squeeze, but he has only made things much much worse.

Sorry for being so windy, but this is a real sore spot for me.

“who I voted against..”

Absolutely, Fritz was right about this one, but I’d doubt I could vote for Foghorn Leghorn either as he was as liberal as Lindsey Graham but did not bother to hide it.

riffin, writing in 1964, named the eight that had served in that capacity until that time. Seven of the eight were Soviets and the eighth was a Yugoslavian—all Communists. Griffin wryly commented that: “Some observers feel that eight Communists out of eight appointees constitutes a trend of sorts.” I guess you could say that. Given this kind of documentation, I would surmise that the concept of the United Nations being a Communist-controlled organization would not be too far out of line for most of us. Probably the ultra-liberals don’t see a problem with that, their thinking already being heavily laced with socialism, but I suspect it is somewhat of a problem to some of the rest of us.

W. Cleon Skousen, in his book “The Naked Capitalist” corroborated much of what Mr. Griffin had previously stated. Skousen wrote: “Most Americans have probably forgotten that it was the Soviet Union which insisted that the headquarters for the United Nations be set up in the United States.”

"why are we bailing out foreign banks? This is obscene and treasonable. "

You are being manipulated by politicians. The more anger you have against false enemies, the more secure your true enemies are.

To make it easier, let's think of something other than banks. Ask yourself, is BP a foreign company?

This is total nonsense. AIG had problems, and the government decided to bail it out. What does "bail out" mean? Clearly, to enable AIG to solve it's problems --- paying up its obligations. It does not matter to whom. It does not matter where money goes after that --- it circulates just like money in your pocket.

Some of those obligations were to Goldman Sacks. So what?

They are trying to make you angry at corporations, so that it'll be easier to dismantle capitalism. And they are succeeding: even conservatives on this forum have no basic understanding of the system they have learned to hate. With conservatives being socialist, it is little wonder that we have a communist in the White House.
