Turning the lights on in media blackout Arizona (blatant, unconstitutional censorship)

imageEarth to Arizona mainstream media: patriots are already piercing sparks of bright light through your media blackout.

“Media censorship in Arizona has now become quite blatant.  Can Canada Free Press help,” patriot Annette McHugh writes CFP this morning.  “Not only do the anti-SB1070 protesters get more media coverage than the pro-SB1070 supporters, but now there is blatant, unconstitutional censorship occurring in Arizona of media attempts to silence Conservative voices, activities, rallies, press releases and press conferences of Arizona Tea Parties!”

It seems that silence is not golden but deafening in Senator John McCain country.

-SNIP-

Hugh’s concerns are echoed by Pam Stevenson, AZ Director, Tea Party Patriots: “Last week the media was invited to the Press conference announcing that 16 Arizona TEA Parties were supporting/endorsing J.D. Hayworth for the senate race.  Although media representatives showed up from local TV stations, radio stations and newspapers—NONE of them ran the story,” Stevenson wrote in an SOS to patriots.

The media drank the bottled water, fanned themselves in the oppressive heat, returned to their offices and disappeared under a wall of it-didn’t-happen silence.

-SNIP-

“Please alert your groups that the media has shut us down and we need to let the nation know that we will not be silent.  We need to have hundreds of Tea Party members emailing their complaints and then blasting their phone lines if they ignore our emails.

-SNIP-

Meanwhile, the Tea Party Movement has two mighty weapons to fight off the media blackout in Sen. John McCain country:  Word of mouth and taking the story viral via the mightier-than-media Internet.

Somewhere the light is starting to pierce the darkness in media blackout Arizona.

According to Gallup, only 25% of Americans have confidence in newspapers, only 22% have confidence in TV news.

All Democrats no doubt.

We recently spent a week in Maricopa watching grandkids, went all over Phoenix as well, no hysterics, good time was had. Dropped some $$ gladly. Yes, we are very familiar with border problems (we're S. Texans) but AZonians are carrying on normally.

Came back the Southern route (Tucson), good conversations with locals, my kind of folks but too mahy brain-dead AARP type McCainiacs. We're of that age group but we have a life and DO NOT belong to AARP--or support McCain.

The Tea Party needs to organize a comprehensive, nationwide boycott of the LSM and their advertisers. This is war. Act like it.

Since many minority cops joined in lawsuits against Arizona, I suspect that they could take their anger out on “white people”

No, many didn't. There were a few bad apples who did, but the majority of the police did not. We've got some of the best cops in the world here in Phoenix. They are honorable, courageous and they love this country as much as you and I do and they want the border sealed.

(blatant, unconstitutional censorship)

Ahem. The MSM is perfectly free to decide what they will or will not print.

Just as I am perfectly free to ignore them completely, not watching their teeheevee broadcasts, and preserving trees and avoiding nasty nasty environmentally-destructive paper-processing chemicals by not buying their printed product. If it puts a few journOlists into the breadlines, it's in a good cause.

But the instant you can mandate what the press MUST print... watch out.

I agree. And the main point I was trying to make was that some ditzy broad in Scottsdale is sending out letters to the editors advising “brown people” as she calls them to report any time they are stopped to the bigoted Eric Holder and his DOJ. I agree. And everyone else should flood the DOJ with complaints when they are stopped also. When I read the biatch’s letter, I saw it as a threat to all law enforcement officers. She needs her ass kicked for starting that crap.

“....and send to fox et al.”

Don’t waste your time with Fox......
I have written Greta Van Sustern MANY an e-mail remarking on how she should “re-name” HER show “The JOHN McCAIN Show”.

Local media in Arizona is probably dominated by leftist like most media everywhere. Taking their cue from the socialist they are doubtlessly now pushing s sympathy trip for those that break the law and of course the endless race war fear and hate mongering that is the corner stone of the modern Democratic party.

If the Government is not doing the censoring, there is nothing unconstitutional going on.

I too was wondering how they got "unconstitutional" out of a non-governmental entity refusing give the Tea Party cause exposure. Unfair it is but "unconstitutional"? Hardly!
