He's setting a trap for you. He's saying "Don't run on this," and a lot of Republicans or conservatives will respond, "Hell, yes, we're going to run on this."

But 1) the economy's the main issue, and Republicans can't lose sight of that, and 2) there's plenty of room for public anger over Obama and the mosque without politicians getting in the way.

Don't stop talking about it or being angry about it, but let it be a real popular reaction, not something politicians call upon to score points.

Don't let the politicians take the issue away from you and don't make them look like they don't have other important issues to deal with.

Dissatisfaction and anger over this won't go away and will affect the election, but don't let it start to look like something politicians have ginned up, rather than a legitimate popular sentiment.

I don't fall for traps. The GOP should run on this and every other issue Obama hands them, like the economy. There's room to talk about it all. This is another 2 more day story but will accumulate with the others.

Some of us put more value on the "hallowed" rights of property and the first amendment.

You're entitled to your opinion.

My opinion is, either zoning laws apply or none do.

And if the local populace does not want a mosque, then it doesn't happen.

And my prior objection still stands.
