The Real Reason Mayor Bloomberg Supports the Mosque?
Emerging Corruption ^ | August 16, 2010 | Ann "Babe" Huggett

New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, is currently on record excoriating opponents to the construction of the Islamic Cordoba Center mosque scheduled to begin construction on September 11, 2011 in Lower Manhattan. The proposed mosque’s site is two blocks from the former World Trade Center’s Twin Towers destroyed ten years previously on September 11, 2001 by Islamic jihadists.

Bloomberg’s demands of religious tolerance from his city’s citizens is inconsistent in a city with 100 mosques already in operation but with a school system that will not acknowledge Christianity or Christmas, or even allow the repairs necessary for the Greek Orthodox Church, St. Nicholas, to go forward nearly a decade after it was crushed by falling debris from the Twin Towers themselves.

Paralleling Mayor Bloomberg’s veiled insults towards those acutely aware of the historical Islamic conquest of non-Muslim lands by their building of mosques on top of or dominating a conquered people’s holy sites, is the concurrent Bloomberg LLC’s expansion of its Dubai financial center into a regional hub for the UAE.

Founded in 1981 by Michael Bloomberg, who privately owns 85% of the limited liability corporation, Bloomberg LLC is a dominant player in global financial software, data gathering and news, commanding one third of its market niche estimated at $16 billion dollars...

I have no intimate knowledge, but I think the approach should be to follow the money. The probability is high that the mayor was given/promished a large sum of money for his actions. The reason for deducing this is that his actions are so outlandish. Crossing one’s palm with silver would provide an answer and there is a LOT of Arabian oil money floating around these days.

it is time our “learned masters” hear from We the People...in more ways than one.

Any bets as how long before Bloomberg/Patterson “decide” to “allow” sharia law ...in return for a financial bailout of NYC/NYS?

You heard it here first.

Bloomie doesn’t need cash, but the access to the market and being the main or only western reporting and research agency in the region is worth billions to Bloomie and his Wall St friends. Murdoch is also seeking to move the bulk of Int’l Newscorp there as well

Not cited by the author of this blog is an article reporting some of this information in The National, a newspaper in Abu Dhabi, on October 29, 2008.

http://www.thenational.ae/article/20081029/BUSINESS/302158245/1005

(This was linked by another Freeper in another thread.)

Some of the information, then, is old, and the actual expansion of Bloomberg interests in that region is probably far greater than this article indicates.

Bloomberg is in many ways like George Soros. He is just as manipulative and duplicitous, though he seems more motivated by self-enrichment than bringing down capitalism.

Obama is knocking down Liberals one after another like dominos.

It has to be hard to be a Lib with Obama in office. Not only can you not be seen with him or anywhere near him, now you have to monitor what he says to make sure you don’t agree with him(Reid) because he always takes the wrong side of every issue.

Obama just has a talent for pissing off everybody in everything he does.

Thank you Obama for your Ramadan speech. You do so much more for America when you ‘stand up for what you really believe in’ than you do in a hundred teleprompter speeches.

This caught my eye...

Max Linnington, the company’s newly appointed regional head of Middle East and South Asia,...

“Particularly since the meltdown of the western capitalist system, there has been an increasingly large focus on the virtues of Islamic finance,” he said. “Today, there is no one single provider of information that caters to the Islamic finance market. So by Bloomberg being here, we are in the process of building out an Islamic finance product. We are very confident that we can build a product that meets the needs of the market right now.”

Despite the fact that its client base of financial professionals has been among those hardest hit by the economic crisis, Mr Linnington said the company’s business “is up fairly significantly in today’s environment”.

By siding with Islamic expansionism through mosque building, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s insulting tirade against the Cordoba mosque’s detractors, calls into question his business ethics in catering financially to an avowed enemy of Western civilization and democratic principles.

And that's the rest of the story.......
