It's a good bet right now that Barack Obama will be a one-term president. The enthusiasm that once shielded this hyphenated American has dissipated. His supporters, although still numerous, have discovered that he lacks Bill Clinton's centrist instincts, and even his charm. The anti-Bush mania that swept the country from 2006-09 finally burned itself out.
It's always possible that the Republicans will nominate a dud. That has happened so often that it should even be considered likely. Not since 1980 has there been an outstanding GOP candidate. But at this stage it's too difficult to predict the 2012 nominee, so I'll drop that subject.
Most important from Obama's point of view is the economy. It is still in poor shape and is likely to stay that way. The unemployment picture has not brightened. In California it is 12.6 percent, while in Michigan it is 14.9 percent. In Europe, meanwhile, the economic picture ranges from uncertain to grave and I'll have more to say on that.

Should start calling him Rollback, cause that’s what we’re gonna do.
I'm very afraid that our country will be so laid waste by the KCM (Kenyan Closet Muslim),there might not be many Republican or Democratic takers for the job :-(
One term should be more than enough. Say what you will about his poll numbers, he’s gotten almost everything he wanted passed. Clearly, he isn’t as interested in his poll numbers as his critics are. They haven’t stopped him or Nancy and Harry.

I usually scoff at those who claim to be able to predict the future but it is hard to argue with this article.
Obama, and the Progressive Fascists Democrats who surround him, are completely clueless on how to make an economy work. Given that fact it is very hard to imagine a scenario where, despite the slavish, obsequious treatment he gets from the faux Journolists in the US Media, where he puts together a win in 2012.
I know exactly where I will be on 1/19/13.
I’ll be in Washington D.C. awaiting the swearing in of Sarah Heath Palin as the next President of the United States.
This will be because the tyrant, BHO, made sure of it. Because he made too many amateur mistakes, is not smart, and does not understand the voters. And he’ll not be allowed to overrule the voters.
I have never believed, on NO DAY, that Americans will meekly submit to this whole bass-ackwards Cloward-Piven thing. This is a theory put forth by the same people that assume Americans will just meekly submit to a gov’t health care plan. Really? Wait until the minority and poor population learns they have been dumped in a bankrupt Medicaid system.
It is not in the DNA of Americans, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age or anything else to submit.
We don’t submit. We raise hell. There is a difference.
We did OK in '84, too.....
It's almost a guarantee that the Republicrats will nominate a dud.
And that'll force the TEA party to actually have to field it's own candidate. Which'll see the Republicrats fight, knowing full well it'd give the election to Obama (a la Scuzzafava in NY). And due to that, we'll probably see the destruction of the Republicrat party as the rank-and-file flee to the TEA party.
Leaving the party elite to then merge into their instinctive home, the Democrat party.
I think the number who submit is far greater than those who resist. nThe submitters are patiently waiting for checks in the mail to solve their problems.
Absolutely nailed it!
And it appears that 2012 is going to be more of the same...and more's the pity!
That smarts...that really does. But there does not seem to be a way around it.
Heck, in Indiana today the national UAW recommended to the local union that they take a pay cut from $29/hr to $15.90 per hour. The local union turned it down and now 661 Union members are going to be out of work without any income at all....and their hands out to the "gummint" for welfare and unemployment insurance.
And the cars they could/should have been building will be built somewhere else....
Can anyone say, "China"???

It is not a good bet till it is so. They said the same thing about Clinton.
“Rollback” 0bama! I like it! :D
I will also be here to witness her inauguration, should God so bless us.
Tom Bethell, author of The Noblest Triumph. Wonderful book, not a mere rehash like so many conservative tomes lately (which shall be nameless).
You are correct. The only problem is that Americans, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age or anything else are fast becoming a minority in this country. Everyone living in the USA is not an American in the truest sense, even those with citizenship obtained for the benefits, not for love and loyalty to our nation.
I could have done without all the name-dropping and party mentions in the article.
Let's find the conservatives and get them into office. The goal is to take back the house as a Republican majority and to get close to a "break-even" in the Senate, and capture as many governorships as is possible.
In that manner, the little tin god will be unable to get anything done in the last (hopefully) two years of his reign.
Then we all can worry about 2012.
Let's stick to the task at hand and take one sure step at a time.
Hillary is licking her chops.
Daisy, I’ll be there with ya when the ‘Cuda is sworn in, with Trig in arms and Todd by her side. It will be a great day.
And we need to stay in “butt kickin’ mode” even if we get majorities in both houses of Congress.
We allow government to grow when “our guys” are in power because we get out of this “butt kickin’ mode”. We have to hold them as accountable at the town halls as we’ve held the ‘rats.
IMHO....you are stone cold correct. This is the rino's last chance....they screw with us this time, and they're finished. A third party will then emerge.
The heir apparent with the Ivy League New England pedigree, is only going to get nominated with the cooperation of the jester-Judas goat who gave us John McCain and has ties to the same populist redneck base who gave us Bill Clinton.
If Sarah runs, she’s in. The only way to derail her will be cooperation by the Judas-goat Clinton wannabe and the nice hair/speaker Bush wannabe to unite the RINOs under one banner. See my post #27.
Could be.....or how about:
"The American Conservative Party"
"The Conservative Party"
"The Conservative Democrat Party" (just to piss 'em off)
"The New Republican Party" (just to piss Them off)
etc....???
Who is the "jester-Judas goat"?? And didn't mcloser beat all the other rino candidates in the primaries (which gives you a very frightening idea of how talentless and brain-dead the rinos really were, and still are)?
If the dems can find a winning candidate in a communist, socialist, empty suited, muslim, islamic community organizer from the chicago crime syndicate....well then, the rinos surely must have the ability to find a truly conservative candidate somewhere in this great country. To date, they've not found one.
The Jester-Judas Goat (Huckabee) assured John McCain's nomination by focusing his entire energies on the runner-up good hair guy. It was a combination of Clintonesque Arkansas charm, economic populism, social conservatism and a base play to religious bigotry.
I think my second choice guy (Fred Thompson) might actually have gotten some traction if Romney had become the front runner and knocked McCain out. At worst, Romney would have been knocked out in the general election and would not be the heir apparent for 2012.
I called this over a year ago. I called this when Obama was elected. “It’s the economy, stupid.” And the economy will be worse in Noveber 2011 than it was in November 2008. This is patently obvious, IMHO. An executive can’t get re-elected in a bad economy. Legislators can try to dodge blame for a bad economy, but an executive is like an NFL Quarterback — they both get too much credit for winning and too much blame for losing.
At least in this case, Obama deserves half the blame for his massive increase in deficit spending.
Never has such illegal and treasonous conduct been exhibited by any president. There are numerous grounds for impeachment should Republicans regain the majority in both houses, a distinct possibility.
Obama is a fascist.Few understand that or can face it.He also has engaged in many illegal acts, such as attacking Sarah Palin with his team to file bogus ethics violations in Alaska.Patent illegality. He has refused to enforce the immigration laws of our nation against illegal aliens by claiming a false federal occupied field theory in our courts.
He has refused to defend the nation on its Southern borders so that it is now unsafe for Customs Agents to even be present on certain sections of the border in
Arizona and New Mexico. That refusal is documented and public
He wants to hook up with the Mexican Drug Lords so he can have access to a ready cadre of Brown Shirts. The man has got to go.His goal is to destabilize every aspect of America that he can, and cause violence.
See who Obama really is by reading here.

We gotta roll back a whole lotta things.
