Eight out of 10 Americans, in fact, say, "Women today are treated with less chivalry than in the past."

I wonder if the parents didn’t teach their sons better. I for one have taught my son to open doors for women, give up seats for women, elderly, and disabled... I guess it is all about “me” anymore. Just a thought

A generation of feminist-inspired crudity has made its mark. After a while even Sir Galahad himself would get tired of chivalrous treatment for women who work hard to be unworthy of it.
I’ve opened doors for women who then gave me a nasty look. ?? Screw it.
This is why I’d never marry an American women — most are high maintenance, fat, and crazy. Most aren’t interested in having families either so at least they are a dying breed.
My ex sister in law is a hardcore feminazi. She is also the unhappiest woman I’ve ever known.
Cracks me up at work when we get a lady in from corporate up north and she gets a taste of our southern manners. They really don’t know how to act.
My friend and his room mate lived in a building with some REAL feminist types... these girls wore ‘earth’ shoes, didn’t comb their hair, didn’t shave their legs, didn’t bathe...etc. Real hard core.
When the ‘ladies’ were moving in some new furniture, my friend and his buddy sat out on the porch drinking beer and watching. I loved it!!
I still remove my hat when I enter an elevator and a lady’s present.
I think NOW created a stir just to get abortion on demand.

I didn’t ask for it. I’ve always loved the chivalry (and that’s coming from a woman with an engineering degree).
Hubby always holds a door for a lady, even though half the time he gets a dirty look.
A few have even snapped they they were capable of opening it themselves.
I taught my sons that also,and I think they still treat women like that. I have to say, living in TX and the southwest men are still more like that, but out here in S. FL, if I open a door for myself some little old (yes, the old ones here are the worst) will hurry thru without so much as a thank you. They must have been raised by wolves.
They made their bed.....and they can lay in it by themselves....

Perhaps if women acted like ladies, this would change.
