Maybe because of my age, (old) I never forget to say *Thank you* when some gentleman opens a door for me...I love men, they can do all the stuff I cannot do....
Same with me, I never expect it and never take it for granted, always appreciate it and let them know, especially in this day and age where the feminists for decades have made it so uncomfortable for men of all ages.
Chivalry is no more than courtesy; courtesy is no more than manners. And as my mother taught me, manners are no more than kindness, regardless your gender.
