Should Obama resign?
Politico ^ | August 17, 2010 | Roger Simon

Posted on 08/17/2010 1:54:46 PM PDT by Andy from Chapel Hill

Q: Will Barack Obama be a one-term president?

A: Yes, he might last that long.

Honest to goodness, the man just does not get it. He might be forced to pull a Palin and resign before his first term is over. He could go off and write his memoirs and build his presidential library. (Both would be half-size, of course.)

Seriously. If (when) the Republicans assume control of the House and Denate, should Obama resign? He will get nothing done -- his agenda is dead.

Should he let Biden take over? the Republicans could jam a VP nomination and effectively make Boenher the VP as Speaker.

Also, has Obama given up? Is that why Michelle is flitting around Europe, knowing the party will soon be over and no one will care if she visits?

It looks like they know what is coming...

He had to get that snide Palin reference in there right at the beginning, huh? Is Bob_J the author?

Why should he, he’s proud of what he’s accomplished for progressives/communist.

“Biden take over?Where’s my Rolaids?”

Sad, but he would actually be a step-up and good for countless instances of comedy relief.

As my friends in Jersey say: “Fuggetaboutit!” Michelle has many other vacation destinations on her schedule...and several more friends she needs to comfort.

There’s an unlimited amount of mischief he could make through executive orders and regulatory fiat. No, he won’t resign. He’ll simply use the veto and blame problems on the GOP, safe in the knowledge that the media will carry his water and most of the public will never know what’s happening.

This is why Pelosi, Inc. forced him to take on Biden as VP.
They have enough on the Big O to get him out at some point, and the agreement is likely that Biden will step down with him leaving Pelosi Galore with the Presidency.

That is what I was thinking. No BC investigation in exchange for a resignation and an open primary.

I want Obama to stay and be voted out. Sarah might not beat Hillary.

Obama is a very lazy person. I bet he thinks his job is done already—he plowed into and destroyed the healthcare system, gummed up the works in so many ways in terms of the exploded deficit, Obamamotors, etc.

But he won’t quit because he wants one thing above all others—to go on the campaign trail again, where he will read speeches off a machine to adoring crowds who will applaud him. He LOVES that. It’s like a little boy playing Superman, he gets to feel all-powerful and beloved. Everything else is the crap he is forced to do to get those moments of love.

My bet is on Hillary, Inc., not Pelosi, Inc.

Both, however, are organized crime families.

You have to read the whole thing to get it. This Roger Simon guy starts off by pretending to castigate him for being so politically inept as to stick his oar in an issue he could have sidestepped.

Then praises him for bravely upholding Sacred American Principles and comparing him to Lincoln standing against slavery and Ike sending the National Guard to Little Rock.

I call B.S. If Obama was a true Profile in Courage he would not have clumsily backtracked on his Iftar dinner speech in Florida a day later. Mr. Simon is pretending that part didn’t happen.

Agree 100%... for someone who is hell bent on US destruction, there is much he can do. For a lasting legacy, he can install many fellow traveler comrades to positions all over the federal government that would take the next century to get rid of them, if we were 100% so inclined and devoted to scrubbing the US of them, which we won’t be. The wave of shedding communists only lasted a few years post WW-II, and only skimmed the surface.

I will congratulate Obama if he throws himself from a high place. As I feel towards all Communists.

NEWS FLASH:

Liberals/Democrats/Socialists/Communists/Marxists NEVER, EVER retire voluntarily or peacefully. This is in stark contrast to conservatives/Republicans, who are typically more than happy to let their enemies win without much of a fight, so they can say that they fought fairly and by the Marquis of Queensbury rules.

Libs/Socialists/Commies/Dems will hang on by their bloody claws, destroying anything they have to destroy to stay in power. Comrade Zero will be no different. Any talk about resignation is a complete pipe dream that will NEVER happen.

Biden is an idiot, but he loves America, I believe.

That’s a huge improvement.
