I guess she didn’t want to work for less money.
She has silenced herself.
I think she sometimes jumps to a conclusion before she gets the whole story, but I understand that her phone screener provides her with some background information from the caller before she takes the call.
Either way, this whole “controversy” is absolutely ridiculous. It's a shame that this will be seen as a victory for the haters on the Left, which it is.
She stood up to political incorrectness in every way. She is not a racist. A black caller complained about a white guy using the word ni—er and Dr. Laura repeated the word in a way white people are not permitted while talking about how blacks aways say n n n n and there is not a problem when they say n every five minutes. Dr. Laura said if it is an ugly word, why are blacks always saying n this and n that...the double standard is confusing and it is wrong...
Anyway, that did her in. Saying the real McCoy n-word in that context.

Many of us can identify with her desire to teach right living and then have our children wander afar.
we all make mistakes along the way. Some have very serious unintended consequences. Making wise choices and having a standard is vital. Christianity is off course, becoming worldly, and weak. Accepting man's will and what he wanted to do ... rather than drawing a strong line according to the Word of God. MO
Thnk You, Dr. Laura for standing up and calling homosexuality deviate behavior. Calling women's lib spiteful and a turning away from home and children in many cases., teaching the importance of parenting, instead of letting the system educate children in the mind numbed pleasures of today’s world. etc.
You will be Missed. My hope is you will reconsider. The attacks on you have been many and harmful, hurtful, and mean.

Well, she was stupid.
Whether you like it or not, there are rules to the Game of media. She broke a cardinal rule, and that has consequences.
She wasn’t calling anyone a bad name. She was discussing the word itself. Obviously she should have used shorthand for that word, but she chose to use the same word the caller was using.
She had so many enemies waiting for her slightest error that she was bound to get hit by one of the many water balloons being tossed her way.
This was a rather odd way to commit professional suicide.
