Muslim and Arab Republicans Take Issue With G.O.P. on Mosque

What happened to all the Americans who were flying all the flags after 9/11...people had them on their homes, businesses, hats, cars, t-shirts...they were everywhere. We had a flag shortage in the stores

Was it a genuine outpouring of sympathy honoring those who died by the hands of the muslims...or was it just another American fad, like the hula hoop?

The building of this "victory mosque" at 9/11 should invoke the same, fierce feelings of patriotism as we all had right after it all happened in 2001.

Americans who stepped up with support then, should be ashamed if they don't step up now.

Let's get the flag thing going again...put them everywhere; get those that attach to your cars, get t-shirts, wear flag hats...we can MAKE THEM see whether they like it or not.

If we roll over for them now, we'll be rolling over for them from now on...do you want you kids to be in the taliban, or beheaded? This is not intolerance to a race, this is INTOLERANCE TO AN ENEMY.

No wonder I never had warm fuzzies about Grover.

Yes, that's the reason Norquist's "pro-Arab" stance. She is from Kuait, of Palestinian descent.

They married in 2005 (her family immigrated in 1990 and she graduated NE University, Boston, 1995.)

One might assume that she's quite a bit younger than Grover, who was born in early 1950s.

I find the whole of Islam to be intolerant as they have a standing death penalty for non-muslims who dare enter several of their segregated cities.

When will the “moderate” muslims speak out against this violation of basic civil rights?

There must be a list-serve of liberal newsies who all got the same word, because they are all doing the same thing today-

1. Pretend it’s only a Republican issue, close out viewpoints or Reid and other Dems,

2. Don’t poll Muslims, but find some who you think will agree with you how Muslims should think,

3. Don’t discuss the debate on the meaning of the building,

4. Don’t discuss where the mystery Imam is.

It’s like they see a threat to their mind-world, and are reacting to it.

Indeed, Norquist married Samah Alrayyes, a Palestinian Muslim, on April 2, 2005, and Islamic law limits a Muslim woman to marrying a man who is Muslim. This is not an abstract dictum but a very serious imperative, with many “honor” killings having resulted from a woman ignoring her family’s wishes.

Alrayyes (now known as Samah Norquist) has radical Islamic credentials of her own; she served as communications director at the Islamic Free Market Institute, the Islamist organization Norquist helped found. Now, she is employed as a public affairs officer at the U.S. Agency for International Development – and so it appears that yet another Islamist finds employment in a branch of the U.S. government.

Frank, I phoned the White House comment line today to rebuke Imam Obama’s mosque support statement. I hung up the first two times as the person (male) I reached there had a distinctly foreign accent: Eastern European or Arab. I never encountered that at the comment line before. The 3rd time I reached an American-sounding girl. Color me bigoted, but I am becoming more and more suspicious. Imagine the infilatration that can be achieved during this regime.....
