KERNERSVILLE, N.C. -- "Conversations with Kay" quickly turned into "Confrontation With Kay" when Sen. Kay Hagan visited the Kernersville Senior Enrichment Center.
Hagan has been hosting "Conversations with Kay" across the state of North Carolina, meeting with constituents about their concerns and having her staff on hand to assist people who need help with federal agencies such as the IRS or Veterans Affairs.
Health care became the hot topic during Wednesday morning's event when one mother sounded off about her children's health care needs. "My children will suffer because of this health care bill," the concerned woman loudly told Hagan . The woman said she's raising two chronically ill children who have been under anesthesia 50 times in the last 14 years.

The woman brought up fraud. The scammers in this country have to be just mind boggling if we knew the extent of it and the leftists enable them to do it. I was talking to my mom’s neighbour last night. She had rented her basement to a unmarried couple with a baby. Supposedly students. They completely trashed her basement. They were scammers—living off government loans/grants that they have no intention of ever paying back. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of people doing this. A neighbour of mine was telling me of her grandson’s indigent father. He got some kind of government grant money to go back to school to better himself and blew through every penny of it.
Any parent who has children with chronic diseases and afflictions (autism for example) are going to need our prayers and a repeal of this healthcare bill - PRONTO! Obama's daughters will never experience what he and his henchmen (fellow democrats) are doing to the chronically ill, elderly and disabled. They should be very very ashamed.
It’s true, there will definitely be far fewer chronically ill children under Obamacare.

I called Kay Hagan’s office to tell her to vote a certain way on a bill supported by the Democrats and I got a lukewarm answer from one of her staffers. I knew right then and there she was nothing more than a lemming. She is willing to go over the cliff with her fellow Democrats. I am hoping that she will not run for office in 2014. Hey, North Carolina, are you listening? DO NOT VOTE FOR KAY HAGAN IN 2014!
She’s right they will suffer.With the family limits in place it won’t take long to burn through the alloted $12K a year with 2 sick kids. We are worried here with me and hubby since I do have a chronic illness.
