All discussion on this by us is inconsequential. All will be judged by God at our given time. These people can say what they want. They will answer for it.
I agree that many liberal Christians have not taken the time to see if their positions are biblical but I would stop way short of saying that everything liberalism espouses is refuted by the bible. And to be fair, I think I and many of my fellow conservatives fall short when it comes to respecting the authority that God has placed over us, including Clinton, Bush and Obama. I'm not equating the two but I am stating that we have our own logs in our eyes that we need to consider.
However I do note that I am often amazed at what liberal Christians can find in the bible that I never knew was there or their use of meanings for words that I never knew existed or was possible.
