Growing Number of Americans Say Obama is a Muslim

A substantial and growing number of Americans say that Barack Obama is a Muslim, while the proportion saying he is a Christian has declined. More than a year and a half into his presidency, a plurality of the public says they do not know what religion Obama follows.

A new national survey by the Pew Research Center finds that nearly one-in-five Americans (18%) now say Obama is a Muslim, up from 11% in March 2009. Only about one-third of adults (34%) say Obama is a Christian, down sharply from 48% in 2009. Fully 43% say they do not know what Obama’s religion is. The survey was completed in early August, before Obama’s recent comments about the proposed construction of a mosque near the site of the former World Trade Center.

The view that Obama is a Muslim is more widespread among his political opponents than among his backers. Roughly a third of conservative Republicans (34%) say Obama is a Muslim, as do 30% of those who disapprove of Obama’s job performance. But even among many of his supporters and allies, less than half now say Obama is a Christian. Among Democrats, for instance, 46% say Obama is a Christian, down from 55% in March 2009.

What does O actually say about his religious affiliation? Christianity is the religion which O has claimed allegiance to but is there some disconnect between what he professes and what really goes on in his heart? The Egyptian Foreign Minister claimed O has confirmed his status as Muslim. Is there not a question of morality, integrity where O has not been honest, forthright to the American people about this?

Question:Presidents have made their Sunday Church attendance a regular facet of their public lives. Does anyone have any information on the sort of religious practice that O now participates in as President such as the weekly church attendance O had been a part of during his twenty year Church membership? I can not recall ever having seen any news coverage of the President attending Church services,the fact of which would reveal a great deal about his current religious affiliation. Can anyone cite an incident of O attending Church since elected?

Let's see, he said he was a Muslim. He didn't take the old ball and chain to any of the Muslim countries. He didn't hold a prayer breakfast on the national day of prayer, but held a Ramadan breakfast. He covered up the cross while at Georgetown for a speech. And last but not least described the call to prayer while in Cairo the most beautiful thing he had heard............nay he's a Christian, because he says so.

This whole poll by Pew is ginned up to show how “intolerant” and “hateful” Republicans are to try to save the Dems (just like all the other “spontaneous” claims of racism, etc.).

Even if you can’t believe Obama at his own words, “My muslem faith”, look at it this way.

Obama is a lying SOB, that much is factually proven. If he says one thing you can bet its 180 degrees to the opposite direction.

So if the White House is tripping over itself to deny he’s a muslem - you can bet your bottom dollar he is in fact A MUSLEM.

Imam Obama is a Muslim and an imposter... Infiltrating the western world in order to harm or conquer it, is the new Islamic “motus operandi”...

There is no middle ground here. I am tired of hearing about “moderates”... Islam is diametrically opposed to the American way of life and and our founding principles, period...

The proof of the new Islamic infiltration is that Obama, being a Muslim, is not sporting a beard...

Any photo-shoppers out there who can post a picture of Obama with a full beard as the Islamic custom requires? It would be good to see what he is going to look like when he finally secures his regime and comes out of the closet.
