Though he has officially been back for several days, Minnesota quarterback Brett Favre will play in the Vikings' preseason game Sunday at San Francisco. Vikings head coach Brad Childress said Friday at a press conference that Favre is going to play a series or two, and Tarvaris Jackson will back him up after that.
Favre returned to the Vikings on Tuesday after weeks of uncertainty if he would play another season or retire.
