VINEYARD HAVEN, Mass. As if the cover of Time magazine were not enough, now the writer Jonathan Franzen has a presidential plug to add to the advance publicity for his latest novel, Freedom: On Friday President Obama bought the book on the first full day of his 10-day stay on Marthas Vineyard.
Later in the day, the president drove a golf cart while he played with three others at the Vineyard Golf Club.
While Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was back in Washington briefing reporters on the resumption of direct peace talks between Israeli and Palestinian leaders Mr. Obama, in jeans and sandals, ventured by motorcade with his daughters, Malia and Sasha, from the property he is renting here to a book shop, Bunch of Grapes, to stock up on beach reading.

he is probably in desperate need of this 9th vacation .. doing so much damage to our nation in such a short amount of time is no easy task.

PLEASE .. no ideas for the boy king .. I am not too happy with the fact that he is now throwing congress under the bus for the economy. He MUST realize what is going to happen to his presidency after the fall elections. Then he will be unable to pass any more of his diabolical legislation.
If we get a clean vote I will be very surprised .. hell if it is fair .. i may drop dead of a heart attack.
Exactly. You will see in the coming weeks how Obama begins to blame the inaction of Congress to fix our economic mess.
