If fascist history is any indication,the targeted people will be those who protect, publicize and fund his political opponents. If he cannot sue them, extort them,or scandalize them, some will likely disappear.
Sarah Palin and her supporters have born the brunt of this kind of thing, even to the pint of a leftist journalist moving in next door to her home to provide a likely hide for a possible assassin. This is more serious than most know. I fear for her safety.
Look at what was done to Tom DeLay for example. Have no doubt in your mind, yes we have fascists in power, and they scare a lot of people, from Hillery Clinton, SCOTUS, and leaders of the GOP, to Maxine Waters, and Rangel.

However, he does need some help with a couple of points that jumped up on a quick read:

Was it a “Certificate”, no it was a “Certification”…a subordinate and much weaker document - as the author points out and which was discused here on FR in early 2009.
However, with that it grows into a birth certificate and provides cover for those who wish to avoid the issue.
Even Obama’s attorney Bauer told the court it was a birth certificate.
(Frank Marshall Davis being the sperm donor)… is one nativity story that would cement Obama’s claim to be a natural-born citizen.
Cement? Not with substantial contemporaneous evidence that Mom acted in every way as though BHO Sr was the father, the product was named after Sr., the newspaper announcement, the divorce, etc. (add your favorite factoids).
Assuming the Dunham family tapped Sr. because they wished to spare family friend FMD, a married man, the embarrassment, would they then have named FMD as father on the birth certificate (for us to conveniently find close to 50 years later)?
Hardly. So it is unlikely the name FMD is to be found anywhere in O’s birth documents.
Assume, Davis was the father - it is plausible. He wasn’t married to Mom and the legal arguments that O, even if foreign born, is nonetheless entitled to the statutory citizenship awarded foreign born children of US parents would go on for years – hardly the stuff of cement.

Politics has always been a dirty game (anybody hear of Watergate? Vince Foster?) but seems to be getting dirtier and deadlier. It’s no wonder it’s almost impossible to get great men to run for office. Who would want to expose their families to this?
Good points all. I think the author was just trying to list some of the likely/possible scenarios. I have never much bought into the FMD as the real father scenario because if that were the case, you would think they would have come clean long ago since then both parents are US citizens. We already know Davis was a commie and so were Obama’s grandparents and mom. Not much with that scenario(other than the commie part)to want to keep secret and spend millions of dollars protecting. It’s something else and it’s obviously pretty explosive and that can only be one thing...Obama is ineligible to hold the office for some reason. Just my two cents.
I am glad it mentioned impeachment. One part of the constitution that birth-certificate-ers ignore is that only congress can remove a sitting president (who is in office)with impeachment. And claiming that Obama is not really president so wouldn't have to be impeached is truly imagination-land. That is like claiming you can fly by flapping your arms and jumping off the roof.
Coulter and Beck are hardly elitists as this article claims.

Barry's father was a foreigner. Barry, by birthright, was born a subject to the crown of her majesty the Queen of England. Barry never was, and never will be a Natural Born Citizen as required by the Constitution. He is, therefore, a usurper. It's not Congress who is charged with "removing" a usurper.
I like them both but I am not the least bit interested or impressed with their opinion of me as a "birther." Their critical thinking skills, which they both possess in good measure, fail them both on several issues. They both indulge in magical thinking when it suits them and I have zero tolerance for that in my own mind.
The FedGov is getting dangerously close to losing all credibility as a keeper of the rule of law. Given that that is the only legitimate purpose of the FedGov it is almost inevitable that the result will be very ugly.
What was not said was tat every lawyer this has happened to has poinnted out that such an order by the judge would open up a whole new discoery proceeeding in which the COLB would still be requested by court order.Every judge backed down. Orly Taitz is doing just that.And she won't stop with SCOTUS. Her next stop is the United Nations.She will keep this in the public venue, and our work altogether as "birthers" has resulted in convincing 60% of the people that Obama was born outside the USA.That number will increase.
